4 out of 5 eggsLOUD FAN!

Pros: great performance, came with some great connectors, and a free game

Cons: The fan is uber loud on comp startup, also is quite loud while the computer is running. It is a bigger card, but not that big of a deal

Other Thoughts: go XFX

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: Great performance.
Plays call of duty with no issues at all in my Asus desktop.
Quiet and acceptable temps.

Cons: Huge size if you can call that a con.

1 out of 5 eggsGood card, poor support

Pros: Decent card for the price. It ran all of my games pretty well, without the need to overclock. Maintains a pretty low temperature for a video card. Had a great time playing Crysis and FarCry 2 with it, even if it couldn't handle MAX settings.

Cons: Pretty big in the case. Horrible customer support.

Other Thoughts: I had the card for about 8 months, and then one day, it stopped working. I had registered for the XFX "Double Lifetime Warranty" so I wasn't worried about it. Apparently my card had "water damage" and they refused to replace it, even though it went from my case directly into an anti static bag to send it in. The warranty sounds good, but apparently my case was throwing a kegger. And yes, that's the most logical conclusion I can come up with to explain water damage.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Got this in the deal with the 650w PSU for a total of 100$. Best deal ever, i bought one, one of my friends bought one who only needed the PSU so i gave him 50$ and now i am SLIing these bad boys, great performance for the price.

Cons: Heating issues, when playing crysis core temps go up really high... because fans don't go past 60%ish when set on auto, have to manually set fan speed for intensive games or else card will overheat.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: - Great card for the price
- Temps stay nice and cool
- Looks really good in the case

Cons: - Power connector is on the side, made it hard to install in my case: CM Storm Scout
- Plastic side panel is a little flimsy

Other Thoughts: I REALLY like this card, nobody needs anything more powerful than this unless they are running at a high resolution. Currently on a 20" @ 1600x900 and everything is as good as I could ever want it.

4 out of 5 eggs1 year later

Pros: I had this card for over 8 months now and it works as good as the day i got it. I knew this card wouldn't give me the best frame rates but good enough for the price. No issues no problems. I like everything about this card except for 1 issue...

Cons: Loud at full load. I deducted 1 point cause of that. I didn't know how loud it would get at load. But still a good card in terms of performance.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent GTS250

Pros: As of 1st qtr 2010 the NVidia GTS250 with 512memory is rated a decent card posting decent frame rates for gaming. I do NOT game but my son ocassionally uses my pc for casual gaming. This card supports the resolutions necessary for me to complete my work tasks using Adobe CS4. This card works reliably which is what I require without going broke

Cons: This GTS250 can be purchased for the same price locally and with the Newegg shipping cost added pricing is identical but since I purchased "open box" Asus P6T V2 Delux Motherboard I included this card just to save on the hassles runjning around to complete this recent pc build. I'd like to see Newegg sell "open box" video cards and price match but alas Newegg hasn't replied back on this request. No more Bing cashback leaving just the dismal ebate.com 1.5% cashback...Newegg how about participating with Bing once again? More importantly how about another 10% discount if we pay via paypal?....I have a large order pending but need the 10% cashback to make my next purchase cost effective!

Other Thoughts: I noticed other people posting this card crapped out after a month/week's use but I've never been burned yet on any Newegg video card purchase including the infamous PNY branded cards.
