4 out of 5 eggsGood while it worked

Pros: Worked great for a month! After 35 days it stopped working and had a damaged memory module or something like that. Not sure what happened, it always ran cool and worked great from day 1 till day 35. Newegg RMA'd it for me and refunded my money. I went with the MSI TwinFrozr model and it runs even cooler.

Cons: Stopped working after 35 days.

Other Thoughts: I have owned 3 XFX video cards total and the other two still run great, so I'm thinking I just got unlucky or my PSU somehow damaged this one. I love XFX though and would still recommend them.

5 out of 5 eggsNice upgrade

Pros: Wonderful performance no hiccups and rock solid feel. Love Nvidia support drivers are readily available and make a difference. Noticable game play improvement none of this benchmarking garbage to compare very small gains. Replaced a XFX 8800 GTS 512mb extreme (awesome card, will keep for another build) and feel it was a good jump. Tons of freebees (COD5, term, lost planet2) but haven't used them will probably sell them.

Cons: None. Size was expected and have room to spare so if 300 series cards need to be bigger then bring it. BTW temps are well within range of what these cards can take, had a XFX 7950 GX2 extreme and it was hotter yet and never had a problem with it.

Other Thoughts: Was a little worried about power so fyi, I have a generic 600 watt psu and it works great using 2 seperate 6 pin cords and have no problems however my system does not have a bunch of case fans or lights. I am just powering a k9n2 diamond mobo, phenom II 940 cpu, 2 250gig hds, 2 optical drives, floppy drive, sound blaster card, and this vid card and have had no blue screens or random shut downs. Want to plug XFX as this is my third card from them and all three have been great, high quality cards. The egg is the greatest too I wish all online companies were this fluid I dread buying things elsewhere and have been happy to see the egg expanding is inventory.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Runs a lil hot.

Pros: Great Framerates in most games even on the highest settings.

Cons: Was running a lil warm before tweaking(seen approaching 70C under load). Although not entirely the cards' fault.(see below)

Other Thoughts: I ended up buying an after market heatsink for this card which at the time of this review will run you $50 +shipping and handling(and allows you to OC lowered my temps to 40C under load). I say that this is not entirely the cards fault because on my evga 780i mobo the pcb gets extremely hot and exhausts directly onto this beast. Also worth noting is the size of these cards do not underestimate in my thermaltake Armor series Full tower case i'm rocking about 3 inches of clearance which is plenty but, i'm warning those with a mid tower that this might not fit in your case. Finally, this card takes 6 pin connectors for power so make sure you psu has these available.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Great upgrade!

Pros: I upgraded from an 8800GS and don't regret it one bit! The price to performance ration was very fair and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade that will last them a while. This card is almost 3x what my 8800GS was.

Cons: This thing is HUGE. Its like a VCR! It barely fit in my antec 900 case. I had to really shove it in there and move my cabling around. It was a real pain to get this fat pig situated in nicely.

Other Thoughts: I mainly use this card to play WoW but I also play an FPS or two once in a rare while. I very rarely see my DPS drop below 60 when I play WoW. Maybe when I hit a main city it might drop into the 40's or 50's (with the rare 20's) but for the most part, This card can take anything WoW has to throw at you.

WoW doesn't stress the card out to much either. She stays at a cool 60-64C (with the ambient being somewhere around 20-25C)

But when I loaded up farcry 2, she very quickly shot up to 80-85C! Very very hot, but expected and not surprised one bit. She handled Farcry 2 very well too. I set everything to max and didn't notice a single stutter or skip. Very smooth and liquid gaming. Great for your DX10 games!

Again, I mainly bought this card to keep up with the times. I plan on playing STO when it comes out and I expect her to stand up to what ever it has to offer.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent video card!!!

Pros: Great card. Relatively cool, quiet, and uses less power at idle than a 4890. Mine stays under 80*c with the fan at 50% while gaming. Plays pretty much every game I have at max settings at 1680x1050. Came with two free games and 3dmark (I'm not counting terminator). Probably the best looking GTX 275 you can buy, super slick design by XFX. Double lifetime warranty rocks. Great overclocker: Core: 733mhz Shader: 1625mhz Memory:1267mhz. Great packaging, too.

Cons: Terminator was a download code not a disc, definitely not worth the download. The card is pretty long but that isn't really a problem. It fit in my antec 900 fine. No other cons that I can think of...

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this card. XFX is a superb graphics card manufacture and their warranty is second to none!!!

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding card.

Pros: Well for me the awesome design. Handles COD MW, COD WaW, CSS, Far Cry 2, L4D, GTA 4, Crysis, at high or max settings. (1440x900 res, since no one posts with these res.)

Temps about 57 idle and 78 the most under load. * see my cons, probably why, though still very cool i guess.

Tons of freebies when i got it: COD WaW, Terminator salvation downlaod, 3d vantage, Far Cry 2. ALL FREE!!!

Most people never put this in their reviews but the card IS: 10.5 ~ 11 inches LONG. So measure carefully.

Upgraded from a xfx 8800gts G92 card. The difference is amazing.
Dont waste your money like others on a gtx 285, this gives about the same performance. (Look up the benchmarks)

And this is suprising, my chipset and cpu run cooler? I swear this is weird but watching my system temps, and they have not exceeded 39c. Dont know whats up with that but im not complaining.

Cons: Well this is expected. The card extends over my evga 680i board, but the real problem is that i need to relocate my hdd since i have 2 hdds. I will have to move one up since it blocks 20 percent of the fan. To give you an idea how long this card is... it goes from my elbow to almost my wrist. Yes its that long. I guess the card didnt install it self...

O yeah, the drivers that came on the cd were horrible. All my games crashed randomly, i know i was dumb for using cd drivers but o well i realized what was up and updated my drivers, and since then i have been slaying zombies with a smile ;D

Other Thoughts: Well its a great card. I got it on sale with free shipping, and COD WaW free, and Terminator Salvation game. Also freebies in the box, 3d vantage thingy, are nice addition.

Also to the people saying that you need more then 550 watts are horribly wrong. Look up power consumption tests with benchmark reviews and this card takes no mote then 450 on the most hardcore systems. I am running 2 dvd burners, 2 hdds, e8400, 6 case fans (with leds) front panel lights, and 4 gigs of ram and am having no problems.

Now if you have a cheap no name brand power supply then yes you need to upgrade. Mine has a 35amp 12 volt rail so it delievers. and a very well known brand for good power supplies. (they recommend a 40 amp)

And i still dont get the deal with the Core edition?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Was installed without a hitch and drivers loaded up nicely. Took about 3 restarts before card was at its potential. Comes with three games! (CoDWaW, FarCry2, and Terminator) One of the cheapest gtx 275s on the market right now. I was questioning if XFX would be a good brand, and it turns out to be working perfectly fine.

Overclocked it the EVGA's superclocked edition clock speeds. Very easy to do. Just used the EVGA Precision Utility xD

Crysis High settings 4xAA ~38fps
CoDWaW Max 4xAA ~ 70fps
FarCry2 Max 8xAA ~ Min 30fps Max 55fps

Cons: As every other reviewer mentions on the gtx 200 series, it is incredibly huge. I had an 8800gt before, and this is over twice the size, due to the double expansion slot and the extra inch on the end. Pretty much I had to angle the card to fit it into my computer, plus needed to do quite a bit of cable management. But eh, what can you do, the performance is awesome!

Once I installed the free 3DMarkVantage, the website does not work for me to get the advanced edition (which is what the code is for and tells me to do), just says that I cannot connect to the website.

Other Thoughts: Intel e8400 ~3.75ghz
4GB Patriot Ram 667mhz
GTX 275!
EVGA 650i ultra mobo
Rosewill Conqueror Case (about same size as Antec 900)

This card was definitely worth the amount I dropped on the card. Excellent purchase and upgrade from an 8800gt superclocked edition! Thank you XFX!
