5 out of 5 eggsFOR retired elec teacher

Pros: It's an amazing card it will run everything you throw at it
3DMARK06- 22356 - STOCK

Cons: People like retired elec teacher doesn't know what there talking about its sad that he gave this card 2 eggs out of 5 just becuz he got a defeated model u would think that he would know that come stuff comes defeated out of the box. That just shows u how stupid people r.

Other Thoughts: Just a heads up this is after all technology.

Intel Core i7 920
Asus P6T
GTX 295 single
LSP Ultra 750

5 out of 5 eggsAs good as it gets

Pros: Wonderful card. It does everything I want it to do and more. GTA IV is as smooth as butter. All my high end games run better with this card.

Cons: You need a fat wallet to get one of these.

Other Thoughts: I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: This card smokes... runs anything I can toss at it.. I can even put motion/distance blurs on a highly graphic MMO and it still has no issues... (though its pointless to have on but good to know it can still run it lol :P ) Had these for about 7 months now.

I have 2 of these runing in SLI . I have always used XFX and Nvidia's .. everyone has thier personal preffereces but I always had issues with ATI cards...

Cons: The cost but thats typical every time I build a new pc...

MUST run Vista 64 bit if you want to run these in SLI mode.. 32bit OS can't support it nor recognise it.

And finally they produce a TON of heat... my room heats up about 5-10 degrees higher then the rest of the apartment with this pc on alone lol but my case has 2x 250mm fans plus another 120mm in the back and such.. so the air flow is fine in the case.

Oh and it takes alot of electricity ... $300 a month for electric ... gg.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure what the best set up for these cards are when in SLI since it gives you the option to deticate 1 gpu to your physix engine... supposidly can't do both but It didn't tell me I couldn't use them both when I placed the feature on.. personally I didn't really see any difference though.

I don't OC anything pretty much because I have enough issues with pc's don't need to intentionally add more :P

My pc freezes up alot but I think thats due to the ram not the cards...

2 out of 5 eggswhen it works

Pros: does great video with good fps easy install

Cons: when it works!!! i upgraded drives like install said to. worked fine first day then i had 3 blue screen of death in a row. keeps comming up with driver has recoverd from no response.

Other Thoughts: during install i registered with xfx like i was suppose to when i tried to contact them to get help. did not reconize name or password no other way to contact them as you have to use name and password to send them a message. was going to cancle 2nd one i ordered from new egg but was too late to cancel. at this point i do no know what i can do. no up grades to drives but still get driver not responding and lockes up computer until it can reset.
phenomI x4 4gig ram no cooling problems all drives working normally.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: See specifications of card on this page for all the pros! Like the other 2 reviewers it will take anything you throw at it and with the lifetime warranty you are set for a long time with this card.

Cons: the only con I can write is that newegg is advertising when I bought it and still are that - Free Call of Duty: World at War w/ purchase, limited offer(limit 99 per customer)

Well, my card didn't come with Call of Duty: World at War so I gave the review 4/5

Other Thoughts: Running this card in an HAF932 and it runs at about 41c

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card! Power to the People!

Pros: This card will run every game to date and any games on VERY HIGH for the next year.

-2 GPUs both running at 216 stream proccessors 400+ streams.
-200b series chip using 55nm process means runs alot cooler.
-Overclock ability is very high with the lower chip heat much easier to clock.
-will run every game out there PERIOD on Ultra++++ settings and for the near future.

Cons: The only con is if your buying this card like me you know you will spend another 400+ in 1 year to keep up with technology!

Other Thoughts: This card is a great card to also buy if you only buy a card every 2 years it will hold out for along time. No games todate really push this cards 2 GPUs to the end.

Great buy for anyone that wants a solid upgrade!

5 out of 5 eggsAfter heavy testing

Pros: - More stable than dual PCB version
- Smaller and not as awkwardly heavy as dual PCB version
- Much cooler than dual PCB version
- VERY overclockable
- Outside stickers look awesome (Better than the EVGA/BFG/PNY ones IMO)

Cons: The only bad experience I had with the GTX 295 was my first attempt to buy one. I bought an EVGA dual PCB sandwich and when I got it, the card's heatsink was broken. Would run about 5 minutes then crash.

With this single PCB card, I honestly can't think of anything bad. I'm sitting here trying to, and I can't. Sorry, not a fanboy (never bought XFX before) but there's nothing negative about the single PCB GTX 295. IMO, the only way they could improve it is to make a more powerful DirectX 11 one.

Other Thoughts: Barring "official reviews", from a user's point of view (i7 920, 6GB pc12000), I run Crysis Warhead at 1680x1050, 4x AA, all Enthusiast at an average of 45 fps, min 35, max 80 (after OCing, that is). That's not bad for 1 card.

@ Those who don't like this card b/c of the internal case exhaust from the card: air just slightly comes out of the vent, it's not like it's shooting out disrupting airflow. The natural air flow of your case will pick up the extra hot air and kick it right out (my HAF 932 didn't skip a beat, even with hot air being exhausted into the case).

Since (right now) all Nvidia's partners (EVGA, BFG, XFX) are only releasing the single PCB version of this card at stock speeds, there is a huge boost to be had OCing. I boosted the default frequencies from 576 to 685, getting about an 8-10 FPS increase in Crysis Warhead. (Still runs at 78-80 degrees when under full load (over course the HAF 932 and my extra case fans help with that.
