5 out of 5 eggsTwo years running strong

Pros: For the price this thing rocks. It overclocks like a champ for almost two years I ran this card at 725 core/ 1670 shader/ 940 memory no issues at all. All this can be done with a 1-2 degree temp increase. Can run any title out BFBC:2; L4D2;GTAIV; Crysis etc. at medium-high settings.

Cons: Does not like shadows or shading.

Other Thoughts: For those on a budget.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 3 weeks

Pros: Good price, reasonable chipset as an upgrade from a 7600GT card. Boosted WEI scores to 6.4/6.5 for graphics performance.

Cons: Wish I could have said I remained happy, but unfortunately the card completely died today, appx 3 weeks after receiving it. Based on other comments, XFX warranties the card for life. If I hadn't thrown out the box, I would have sent it back to Newegg for a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Composite ntsc out for those with old Tee Vees. DDR3 memory. Over clocks 10% with out any change in temp.
Great Tech support. (See other thoughts)
Came with a game.

Cons: Didn't come with a TV adapter.

Other Thoughts: I couldn't get the TV to work with my old SVID to Composite adapter. I registered On line and opened a support ticket. I called fist thing Friday morning and spoke to a Tech with no wait. This guy was in the US! He told me I needed a new TV adapter and shipped me one, without charge. Got it in less than a week. Great Tech support makes XFX my first choice.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Card

Pros: Decent price. Good rating in Win7. Acceptable performance for the cost.

Cons: Makes a bit more noise than the 8600 GTS that it replaced - but not enough to knock off an egg. It is noticeable though.

Other Thoughts: Was having problems in Win7 with my 8600 GTS and running Aero - this card does not have those problems. Works perfectly. Just wanted something comparable to what I had but on a budget. This card is fine for that until I can get around to upgrading more of my system or replacing it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Simple install, and it does what I wanted. Also the free game was nice.

Cons: registration and driver install wasn't the easiest, it said my computer had a better driver than what was on the disk they sent.

Other Thoughts: wish I would have been able to pay double the price for a much better video card. but it will do for the time being.

5 out of 5 eggsPays half way for it's self

Pros: This is better than the GDDR2 1GB models, if you was using more than the given memory than the data speeds will bite you

comes with COD4 which is half the price of the card

Cons: fan is loud. not very, but don't good for a silent system

Other Thoughts: If you do not have COD4 and want it for the PC, and you could use this card for an alternate computer (replace the video on my old computer being used for my new one, no NEED to game on this card). than this is a good buy

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Strong card, does video and gaming well, great product to cost ratio. Newegg is the best!

Cons: Very loud in my machine, not sure if I can get used to it or not. PSU requirements on box Vs' newegg web page conflict, 400watt minimum required not 350.

Other Thoughts: COD4 came free with card, nice surprise.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: great card. i've been playing Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare, Batman Arkham Asylum all on high settings with no lag. whatever you do don't underestimate this card.

Cons: its not a 9800?

Other Thoughts: to my surprise it came with a copy of Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware XFX "Lifetime" warranty

Pros: It fits in the slot and works well for about a year or so. Blown capacitors didn't burn down my house.

Cons: XFX lifetime warranty is a sham. Was recently denied a claim on a card which they had previously replaced through lifetime warranty. They claim it was not registered w/in 30 days which is utter fabrication. Both failed cards had blown multiple capacitors under normal, non-gaming use.
