5 out of 5 eggscan run all new games

Pros: super card for the price specially if you got the rebate. i have mine overclocked to 630core/1534shader 1080mem and i have not seen an artifact yet. i can play diablo 3 beta, dota 2 high 40fps, tera online every older game no problems yet.
also came with assassins creed 1 which was kinda cool although im never going to play it

Cons: - rebates dont work for canadians so i was expecting to get $30 back but i didnt, my fault i guess for not checking but still sucks since that is the reason i bought the card. (xyx if you read this i would be a lifetime customer if you could get me that $30 back to Canada ! )

Other Thoughts: despite the rebate thing im very happy with the product its all the power you need for gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: I needed a good priced card that could handle at least Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 and it works great for it with settings maxed out and then much lower settings for FSX but will run it. it stays really cool and not to loud either.

Cons: None really. If I had the money I would have shopped around a bit more but I knew what I was getting and she works great and worth every penny.

Other Thoughts: Overall I think this card is worth the money but if you can wait save up for a better performance card.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: works in DOS and 640x480 resolutions

Cons: I'm not sure what the problem with this card is but it has serous compatibility issue. Its driver crashes and problems are completely random and something might work for hours then suddenly will never open without crashing.

I'v only tested on Win7x64, but after every driver version produces the same effects on 3 different RMA'd cards - There is only one conclusion.

Other Thoughts: RMA to XFX, which means I can't return to newegg and stuck with this junk.

Was hoping for a well performing low priced card but all I got was a headache, $20 wasted on RMA shipping

2 out of 5 eggssupport not very good

Pros: none

Cons: bad support

Other Thoughts: Ok, I do not have this card, I have the 8600GT for about 3 years now. The card is still working, but the cooling fan is making noise. I contacted the XFX support and see if they have the spec on the fan, so I can try to buy one. They told me they do not have that on file and asked me to remove the fan and match it at the store. Are you kidding me? I am sure their Engineer has the sepc of the fan and they just do not want to spend the time digging that out.
This is bad XFX. Not going to buy another XFX card anymore.

1 out of 5 eggsBad decision

Pros: None. Only bright side is Newegg service.

Cons: The worst video card decision ever. I had to troubleshoot issues for 4 days straight!! I went thru 5-6 fresh windows 7 install and 12 different variations for drivers. I even used the driver by windows update. They all fail miserably!!! See other reviewers having same problem.

Nvidia Display Driver Has Stopped Responding and Successfully Recovered. <---- google this and you will see that Nvidia based cards are having all sorts of issues.

I RMA'd card back to Newegg and went with ATI based card on same system and it runs now flawless. Thanks goes to Newegg for helping resolve this issue.‎

Other Thoughts: Nvidia used to have the best driver support.... I guess that is no longer true. The tables have turned.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have only had this a week but it is running well. I bought this for my nephew so he could play FlightSim. It was cheap (assuming I get the rebate). I don't know why people have had trouble installing this card. I downloaded the drivers from Nvidia, popped the card in and everything worked. Even running FurMark the fan was pretty quite - I had to put my ear to the case to hear it. This is in a Lenovo K300. I was kind of worried about it stress the PS (280W), but this only draws ~40W when stressed. Total draw was only ~122W.

Cons: Don't have any yet. If something comes up I'll edit.

Other Thoughts: Ran FurMark to stress it - the card does get hot running this but as soon as I stopped FurMark the temps dropped really fast - about ~0.5C/sec.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks OK

Pros: Works OK, no problem. Pulled my damaged Asus GT240 and replaced it with this XFX GT240. Heck of a deal on sale and after rebate - brand new modern video card for a total of three tens and a five. Thanks to those who posted positive reviews after so many posted about their terrible experiences. Seems XFX straightened out the problem.

Cons: Waiting for the rebate.

Other Thoughts: System:
Win XP Home SP3
AMD X64 Dual 2.4 GHz
3 Gigs PC3200 Memory
Antec Earthwatts 380W PSU
XFX GT240

5 out of 5 eggsgood bang for buck with rebate

Pros: cheap with rebate (~ $35.)
Nvidia based, great driver support
great warranty
stable
quiet
low power consumption
while not the end all of video cards by any means, it allows my XP64 Core 2 Quad Q6700 4GB system to run RealFlight (G4.5) at 'highest' settings @ 1280x800 and get 60fps no problem, which is why I took the chance and bought it...
included Call of Duty 4

Cons: it wasn't free, maybe?

Other Thoughts: I usually don't review products, however at the time I purchased this, most of the reviews were fairly negative and I felt I needed to help balance out some of those comments considering my personal experience.
I'm running driver version 266.58 on the above mentioned system and have had absolutely no stability, thermal, noise, power or any other problems as mentioned in some previous reviews. FWIW... YMMV...

5 out of 5 eggsCard just works

Pros: Plugged card in, booted, installed drivers from Nvidia and done. Nvidia overclocking recommendations for 3D were 608/1118 and this only brings the CPU to around 44C. The lower power mode and quiet fan make this card a good choice for someone who is not interested in the latest games.

Cons: None so far. I had a noob moment by not downloading the drivers before installing the card.

Other Thoughts: Rebate is being processed, included game was playable through WINE.
WebGL demos work fine with it - the reason I bought the card - my IGP choked on every WebGL demo or tutorial I tried.

The NVIDIA X Server Settings panel sliders for overclocking are a little jumpy when trying to set it to a specific digit - but that is not XFX's fault.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: This card works great. Fast card and I got it with a rebate so it was $40. It gets about 3600 PPD in Folding@Home.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Water swirls down the drain in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?
