5 out of 5 eggsBigE

Pros: BigE, you have a HIGH Tech. Level, but you are installing an XFX Video Card (finicky with G-Byte & MSI Mobo's) in Single PCI-Ex16 and should get a second card for Scalable Link... Plus, Delete all nVidia Drivers before updating. Oh, restart PC after deleting older Drivers. Since you are using Win7 X64, you don't need to load many other drivers as long as the Video Card(s) are in place and BIOS set for SLI. Also, set the Visualization setting in your BIOS to "YES".

Cons: Great G-Byte board with an XFX Video Card installed. Use EVGA or even Better- a G=Byte, or Two.

Other Thoughts: Too many for response area...

1 out of 5 eggsproblems...

Pros: Gets good scores within Win 7 64 bit...

Cons: Problems since I installed it. Constant "display adapter stopped working and has recovered" errors within Win 7 64 bit. Crashes within StarCraft II every time I play. When it crashes it corrupts the video such that I get pixelization (snow) all over the screen & must reboot. Don't know if the problem is Win 7 or the nVidia drivers, which I have painstakingly re-installed to latest version numerous times. Unable to isolate the problem but the crash is only from SC II. Often BSODs on pcw.sys, cng.sys, or nvlddmkm...frustrating.

Other Thoughts: System:
Gigabyte GA-870a-UD3
8GB OCZ Dominator DDR3

XFX had to send me the adapter wire to get HDMI sound from the MB - it did not come with card.

5 out of 5 eggswattage...

Pros: Just to clear things up for the people that stress you have 700w for this card: Im still running a 460w just fine. This shuld be all the power you'll need: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171028
The +12V output duties are divided between TWO 18A rails for plenty of balanced power.

Cons: example : If the power supply shows that the +12V line supplies 18A of power, that voltage rail can supply a maximum of 216W of power. (Voltage * Amperage = Wattage ) The maximum output of the +5V and +3.3V rails would then be calculated and added to the overall wattage rating.

Other Thoughts: i'm not even going to do the math...So if you want to spend more $... by all means go ahead...lol

4 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Great card when given enough power, has not over heated on me and I only have one fan on it plus the fan on the card itself. Runs every game that's out there right now and I get ~330 FPS in counter strike source. All the drivers worked and card was super easy to set up

Cons: make sure you have a power supply that can handle this.

Other Thoughts: I had my old power supply blow up on me (it was 500W) not sure if it was from this card or what but while the minimum requirements say 400W I would at least go with a 650W+ power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Powerful, can play games at full 1080p HD smoothly (mass effect 2, fallout 3), Zalman cooler, single PCIe power connector

Cons: I guess that SLi would be pretty tight as it takes two slots, and maybe it requires a 24A, 12V rail...but your not getting a good card that doesn't require that

Other Thoughts: I was worried at first that since it was a G92 (basically a 9800GTX+) that it wouldn't be too much better than my 9600GT that it replaced....the difference was night and day with Mass Effect 2....the 9600GT would have low enough frames to notice at 1080p, and it would make my case blow very hot air....this card plays fluid and doesn't get near as hot...I strongly recommend this card for under $200

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for it's bargain price

Pros: A very good mid-level graphics card. Gets very high FPS on MW2 and Badcompany 2

Cons: Takes up an extra pci slot. Not a big deal if you don't need all the slots.

1 out of 5 eggsrun from xfx

Pros: great crads when they work

Cons: xfx warranty

Other Thoughts: I have 2 9800gt and both have now died, when I sent one back they sent me a bad 9800gtx when I sent that back they sent me a radeon hd 4850 which would be nice if I didn't have a xfx nvidia mb to run SLi not crossfire. Now they tell me I can send BOTH the cards back in and get one radeon card...... don't trust them with your money, if they fail you're be wishing you had bought elsewhere

5 out of 5 eggsawesome!

Pros: This card is a BIG leap from my old 7950GT OC. Haven't had it for very long yet, but when trying it on several games, it has performed very nicely.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: By looking at the picture you can tell that it comes with a HDMI, DVI, and VGA port. I wanted the GTS 250 with 2 DVI ports but was sold out at the time so I got this one. If you plan on using dual monitors, be ready to either have an adapter or a monitor using HDMI. This didn't surprise me as I knew it didn't come with 2 DVI ports, but I did have to buy an adapter.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware! Photo does not match item!

Pros: Looks Good. Packaging was good enough to stand up to horrible UPS handling. Newegg has fast shipping and awesome customer service.

Cons: Very Loud - Photo shows 4-wire fan (variable speed), but item recieved has 2-wire fan, which means that it runs at 100% jet engine noise level ALL THE TIME! Not responsive to any manual fan control utilities. Also, disk did not contain drivers for Win7 64-bit, but you should always download the latest drivers anyway.

Other Thoughts: The photo apparently shows an older revision of the item, and XFX decided to cut costs by changing it to a cheaper constant speed fan. Look for a different model with a modern variable speed fan. There is no reason to have a fan be noisy all the time, regardless of temperature.
