5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive (I got mine for $60 after MIR)
Low noise variable fan speeds
Can take any game I throw at it with no problems
Did I mention the colors? looks nice with my black motherboard

Cons: Last year's technology
Not DirectX11 optimized
Doesn't make me sandwiches
NO HDMI OUT

Other Thoughts: My Build:
Biostar A880G+
2x2GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1333 clocked to 1600
And of course, this graphics card :)

I came across this card when it was over $100 shipped, and I bookmarked it, planning to purchase it when I had money. The price drop to $89.99 was insane enough, but then they offered $30 MIR as well?!?! If you didn't get this card when it was $60 after MIR, too bad. It is still an awesome deal at $100 but you might want to look at a newer card if you want to spend that much. Hardware gets less expensive all the time, and it is sometimes a pain to find the deals at the particular time you are looking for whatever part you want. If you are looking for the latest and greatest, this is not the card for you. But if you want something you can play games casually with at decent resolutions, I highly recommend this card.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's been a while.

Pros: I swear to you, this is a quality product. XFX is amazing, this is my third card from them in a row. I built my rig a year and a half ago, and it ran 24/7 for 15 months. It got restarted 10 times-maybe in that time, most because of power outages; and one finally killed my hd. This card hasn't skipped a beat to this point. Source games, including Portal 2, still maxed out. Rift runs at Ultra and stay at 30fps until your grouped with 20 people. Maxes out Bethesda games as well. It's quiet, and don't get me started on XFX's warranty!

Cons: Big in my rosewill micro atx case obviously, can only fit 1 hd.

Other Thoughts: I will probably never purchase a card from any other comapny. Although i only buy Nvidia cards, and XFX hasnt made a new one since this card for some reason...

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Card runs games like COD 4, COD 4 MW2, and Black Ops on Med-High settings even though it was made in 2009. I am waiting on my rebate right now. A $30 rebate is very good.

Cons: Took 5 days to ship, ordered 6/8/11, arrived 6/13/11. That probably happened because it was a weekend, but still. It took a while.

Other Thoughts: Had to switch some SATA spots, but that was easy.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Card Is Bad...

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: This is the worst video card I have ever purchased. Drivers for this card keep unexpectedly crashing. These crashes resulted in BSOD's on my old computer. So I built a whole new computer and the drivers still crash. Least I don't get the BSOD any more but still very frustrating crashing in a game that takes little graphical power, such as League of Legends. Beware this card is cheap for a reason.

Other Thoughts: Least this card made me update my system.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Getting some Bang for the Buck.

Pros: 512MB, and 256-bit - Re-branded 9800GTX +, XFX Made (really good quality), Stays cool @ Idle, and Cool under Load, Black PCB, And Black Casing for the Card (Matches my NZXT Vulcan), Small (9.2" Total), plays Modern games (Especially Crysis 2, Max Settings with 40FPS and higher, But my CPU Is holding me behind a little) and much more.

Cons: The only con i Could possibly think of, that when the fan is on 85% or higher, It's pretty loud, so I keep it @ 75% MAX to keep temps down, and noise down a little (Literally, switching to 80% fron 75%, is really a difference). But It's nothing to de-duct an egg from, so yeah.

Other Thoughts: My build, Runs all Current Games (BFBC2, Crysis 2, COD 6)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghx @ 3.1Ghz On Stock Voltage
4GB DDR3 1066 Centon RAM
Ultra LS600 W Power supply
NZXT Vulcan mATX Gaming Enthusiast case
MSI G41M-P26 LGA 775 Motherboard
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler
XFX Geforce GTS 250 512MB Graphics Card
250GB Western Digital SATA II HD (3.0GB/ps)

I'm only fourteen, so most underestimate Teens my age. I Highly, highly Recommend this Graphics card.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on arrival.

Pros: Great specs, and would be a great card if it actually worked.

Cons: I bought this video card for a custom build (for gaming) and after the assembly of the computer was finished I was unable to get the monitor to recognize a video output. After a lot of trial and error I found out that the card was dead on arrival.

1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE!

Pros: cheap

Cons: they are bad.i got it from newegg and it was doa.I couldn't return it because i sent bar code for the rebate so i sent it to xfx.they sent me back an ati card..i said that is not what i want.i payed for gts250.they said they can do whatever they want.after fighting with them for a while they sent me another gts250.same issues as the other one.So they kept blaming my pc,power supply blahblah.i told them 2 ps,different cards work well, they kept making up excuses etc.I finally got a zotac card and everything is working well. There is a reason they are so cheap...

Other Thoughts: NEVER buy xfx.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Overall

Pros: Pretty good card in it's day. I bought it because of the price drop. Awesome graphics all around. Scored a 6.8 by itself on Windows 7. Like the dual DVI, also the color stream HD adapter is a nice thing to come with.

Cons: Wish it could compare to the 400 series. Also wish it came with an HMDI port, as this build is hooked up to my TV in the living room. The color stream HD adapter is a good thing, as my TV has it, but cause me to have to go out and buy a pair of color stream HD cords. :(
