4 out of 5 eggsAwesome... Until it died.

Pros: Ran anything and everything awesomely.

Lifetime warranty.

Eggcellent (sic) price.

Cons: Corrupted display after almost two years of ownership.

With a lifetime warranty that's not too bad, but XFX does NOT have a direct link to RMA it. (No intuitive RMA process described on their site either. And their web site is unreachable half the time.)

I am trying to go through their support system, but is very slow going.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Duvaren, The website is xfxsupport.com, if you have any issues creating a ticket, please email us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com.

Thank you

5 out of 5 eggs1 year, 2 months later

Pros: Never missed a beat. If the rest of my system can't stay up with this card. Stays cooler than the rest of my system.

Cons: The XFX HD785A cnfc HD7850 has been discontinued. That's too bad. The rest of my system can't stay up with card. Installed fan on chipset.

Other Thoughts: My system is an old Dell Studio XPS 435mt. i7 920
Seasonic G series 650w psu
XFX HD 7950
Kingston HyperX 61gb 1600
My system always ran hot since I bought it 4.5 years ago. I installed 4 fans direct from psu. I think Pice2 slot is too old for new Pcie3 chipset really heats up. My chipset temps are 109f to 113f idle. High use (in games, bf3) 128f to 138f when air circulates well all temps are 10f above normal (97f) (idle).
Removed aluminum fan shroud from card because it wouldn't fit on the MT board. hit i/o on mobo. Amazingly, it fix and ran cool 77f.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Runs everything I have thrown at it in 1440P at ultra settings. Very cool temps (idle = 30-39c, full load avg. 63-65c) This is a good 20c lower than my old 550 Ti 2 GB. OC @ 1050/1450 with no problems. Dirt 3 Benchmark @1440P was 62.2 Avg.

Cons: None so far other than I haven't figured out how to unlock the voltage yet. I know it can

Manufacturer Response:

We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your purchase. If you have any questions about the product, please feel free to contact our support staff at xfxforce.com. Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsJust got it

Pros: 500w psu min , quiet , makes my video games look prettier and more realistic, OC version so I don't have to (ha), no temp problems so far and run all games at max, physical looks.

Cons: Missed the free Dirt 3 coupon by one day ? kinda cheesy.
No Win8 drivers as of yet but Win7 works just fine.

Other Thoughts: Wonder if there's any way to get the free Dirt 3 coupon ?
38fps in Heaven 3.0 with everything on "extreme"/max at 1920x1080

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far (1st day)

Pros: Not too noisy. The catalyst suite is really easy to use: these guys just get it IMO.
Runs fairly cool.
Low power draw by comparison to older gen cards (100watts less) at peak loads.
The cover of the card (silver color) is actually a piece of thick metal, not plastic like I assumed.
By comparison to my older card in benchmarks (versus 5750) it gets literally double the frame rates in all 3d tests.

Cons: Just a tad loud at higher fan speeds.. 45% or above.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind to adjust fan speed, you will need to check both enable graphics overdrive and manual fan control. Runs fine on my 560 watt power supply.
At the moment (on a fairly cool day, night time) it runs at 31 Celsius with 35% fan speed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome. Runs everything I need (FSX with addons, MW2, League of Legends) with really high AA and filtering.

Cons: Does not include 4-pin molex to PCIe 6-pin adapter.
