5 out of 5 eggsCant beat it for the price.

Pros: Takes the games I throw at it in stride(older titles the newest I've tested it out with is Bioshock Infinite on ultra and it runs fine)

Cons: Older card but I knew that.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this to any mid-range to moderate pc gamer.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We are happy you are pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsNice budget card

Pros: I bought this card from a local retaler i couldn't wait for newegg, was about 138$ after taxes, came with 4 games and expansion for farcry 3 so 5 games!! Games were big budget games worth more than the card lol. The card performs great, i do a lot of 1080p gaming and i get all my games to run on ultra settings mind you AA and settings alike are off or set low.

Cons: It doesn't have 2 gigs of ram. Looks better then a xbox 360 but that's not fair comparison, probably won't beat the one or ps4, but my GTA 4 looks WAY better on my pc then GTA 5 looks on the 360 (same tv) so i'm happy. GTA 5 needs a pc release :P

Other Thoughts: Card is great for the low price games look awesome just know how to tweak and compromise game settings. Crysis 2/3, FarCry 3, GTA 4, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Hitman Absolution, many more with high to ultra settings on my 120hz 42" tv. Bluray movies look amazing, really happy with this card. System specs may help it along too FX-8350, 8gb 1600 gskill sniper ram, SPI 650 gold certified power supply.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review Gdiddy.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat card if you get one that works

Pros: This card is a decent choice if you're looking to upgrade from any old card. I replaced my ati radeon hd 5450 with this, and there was a huge difference. Definitely worth the price.

Cons: It can be a headache getting one that isn't defective. The first one I got caused graphical artifacts, and although it was able to play some games, it didn't take more than a day to crash. After sending it through RMA, I received another one with the exact same issues.

Other Thoughts: I did my research, and it all pointed to good things, but when I receive two duds back to back I just have to say no. I'm sending this one back for a refund. It's a shame really, I wanted to enjoy gaming with this card.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, You received 2 cards with artifacts within 30 days of purchase? that is highly irregular. Have you tested any other cards to confirm its not a different piece of hardware? We would be happy to help you resolve any issues you have at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -I got something for christmas
-I can play battlefield 4 on high settings now
-It looks cool
-has a cool name

Cons: -I bought the gift for myself
-It is way too expensive
-Not worth it's price
-dont buy

Other Thoughts: I can't believe this thing is 100 dollars or so.
This is worth 70.
Very little upgrade from what I had before.
That extra 40 dollars must of just been the stupid brand name.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, We're sorry you are not happy about the price. Was there anything wrong with card itself that we can help address for you?

4 out of 5 eggsDANG!! What a steal

Pros: Was not sure whether to stick with nvidia or try out some amd hardware. I feel spoiled!, i bought this at a best buy that had it priced at $132. Once i got to the check out and the employee scanned it out, it actually was on sale for 99!, this thing is beast for budget as well as mid-high performance. This thing replaced my gtx 9800+. After i bought thecard, i came included with some nifty stuff in package as well as 4 free games (best buy edition, this is the OC version) so ended up getting a decent new gpu with free games! runs cool, has little lag when loading but runs flawless! i will be playing around with amd's stuff for alittle bit and then eventually go back to nvidia. so far i am happy, and going to put this to the test as well as some couple hours of gaming here and there!

Cons: gddr5 is 128 bit badnwidth so it will have some issues in certain intense moments with the games unless you drop the v sync or resolution to a couple of pixels lower then 1080p, but hey! it was a 100 dollar card!. Remember that this is a solid budget game card, need more, get a more powerful card.If you are worried about power consumption but still want that punch, this is the card.
AMD Drivers are tad finicky, i went with brand new beta version and fixed texture glitching in the games so i knocked one egg off,

Other Thoughts: this version of hd7770 sits between 650 and 660. it out does the 650(reference version) but does not beat the 660(reference) For the price, and after not upgrading for quite some time, this was really a decent surprise!

Manufacturer Response:

Hello and Thank you for the positive review. The New and Beta drivers shouldn't affect clocks speeds that are causing your artifacting. That is typically system ram so you might have a false positive. Please contact us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com because we think it could be driver related.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat card but where is the support?

Pros: Good mid-range card that can run high demanding games like Skyrim.

Cons: Where is the support for this product?
I have misplaced my manuals I have tried looking it up digital copies to no avail!

It almost seems like XFX is trying everything they can to keep from having to assist with this product, try searching their page for R7700! 0 results.

It's not unlike their advertising of this playing 5 monitors simultaneously, completely negating to tell the consumer that it required a displayport active mst hub that literally didn't even exist until September years after this cards initial release! Now released runs 150$USD by a manufacturer called Club 3d and is obscure to find.

Now I come to find that to use multiple port simultaneously some adapters must be active vs passive!?

How many/which ports exactly!? Who knows.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello and thank you for taking the time to create this review. The general rule is... Every card can do 2 monitors, if it has a displayport, it can do 3... if it has 2x displayports, it can do 4. Most card do not natively support 5 monitors.

2 out of 5 eggsWARNING - Use Drivers that come with Card

Pros: Works fine for gaming

Cons: There may be an intermittent issue with Adobe Flash, especially with Firefox, if you do not use the driver version that the product came with. This issue will cause full on DERP of the primary display that can only be rectified by a hard reboot.

And by DERP I mean random color lines on a black background that seem to emulate a type of LCD failure. Tested with multiple LCDs. This issue turned out to be quite tricky to pinpoint the issue - it happens after a bit of gaming (timeframe varied), and then playing adobe flash objects in Firefox. Flash also caused screen flickering with this card in Internet Explorer as well. Seems to be tied to Hardware Acceleration, even when it is turned off.

Other Thoughts: I had purchased an XFX FX-777A-ZN from another vender, and the one I have may be a slighty different version. When it works, it works great, but I personally got tired of having to do a reboot after gaming (either by choice or by force), so I have since replaced it with a different brand. I will be keeping it as a backup, but I wanted to leave a note on the matter.

XFX, by their own website, recommends that you use the version of the drivers for their cards from their disks rather than the latest drivers from AMD for best results.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Transbot9, we're sorry you had issues with this card. We would like to help you solve these issues if you still wish to fix them. Please contact us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com. Thank you for your review.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for Price!

Pros: This product works really well. I have a dual monitor setup with one monitor at 1680x1050 and another at 2048x1152. It stays around a nice 100 degrees F when just doing browsing or watching movies. Handles gaming on Skyrim ULTRA pretty easily. And when playing Far Cry 3 on optimal at 2048x1152 it works perfect! And stays at 150 degrees F which is pretty good.

Cons: It's not very good at Anti Aliasing but it can easily handle 2x Anti Aliasing. Not much of a con but just to keep something to in mind when tweaking game settings.

Other Thoughts: Keep The Box! It has vital information on it for you. Such as that you should use Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion (HBAO) while in game. This led to the card being 5 degrees F colder with barely any visual difference.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review! If you ever have an issue with this card, so a question, please contact our XFX Support team at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com.
