5 out of 5 eggsgot the DisplayPort connection to work

Pros: good picture from dp connection thru active dp x hrmi adapter. My problem must be related to the HDMI 4 port switch. Will have to spend time on a work around to get where I want to be.

Cons: I was not aware of this problem. Not the card's fault.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review.

We appreciate the kind words. If you have any questions, please let us know.

2 out of 5 eggsmaybe it is my setup

Pros: Got 2 monitors to work, DVI, HDMI

Cons: Unable to get the displayport signal on my monitor's DVI connection. Signal from card goes first to an active adapter (dp x hdmi) then to a 4 port HDMI switch the to a HDMI x DVI cable.. Was hoping to get all 3 monitors on the wider PCIe x 16 rail.

Other Thoughts: will do some more research.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Bob,

Have you tried a simpl DVI to DP adapter without the hub? technically this setup could work, but not as a 3rd monitor if you are trying to split the Displayport signals into HDMI... you need an MST Hub for that.

Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card, Driver issues

Pros: Cheap, quiet, low power, Tri monitor support.

Overall this is a great card, it's fast and single slot for tri monitor support. However I did run into some driver issues.

Cons: Before I start I'm pretty sure this is mostly my machines fault and I just need a re-install. I constantly have display issues, monitors rearranging themselves, monitor resolution changes, and other time I only get output to a single monitor while the others stay black.

I've tried the beta drivers and the latest drivers. Still the same results. Again I'm pretty sure it's just my workstation being a mess and needing a re-install.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend the card, again I'm pretty sure my cons are because of my machine.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry you are having issues with your card.

We would be happy to help you address this issue, please contact us at neweggsupport@xfxforce.com.

5 out of 5 eggsEyefinity. Great Card for A great price.

Pros: Eyefinity gaming is the best. I sometimes hook my laptop to my 65 inch tv and don't get me wrong it is nice and looks great, but Eyefinity gives you a full spectrum and peripheral vision. I have not yet played a game designed for eyefinity, but minecraft looks AWESOME!

I'm running it on an i3 with 8gb of 1600 ddr3 ram, 280W 80 Bronze power supply and 3 Dell 24in 120hz 1080p monitors. It was already noted that you must have a DisplayPort monitor or an active DisplayPort adapter to make it work with the 3 screens I used the Nippon LAbs DP-DVI-6 6 ft DisplayPort to DVI-D and it worked fine. The instructions showed exactly what was needed to set-up the Eyefinity but no directions on how to actually do it.

Cons: Eyefinity was a bit finicky to set-up but after tinkering with AMDs catalyst it finally started working. I still don't know how to do it though...

Other Thoughts: Overall great card so far and requires very little power. ShopRunner 2 day shipping is a GREAT service for a low price!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Single-slot, low power consumption, quiet fan. Works with the open-source ATI driver in Linux.

Cons: Black PCB...I miss having a card with vivid ATI Red.

3 out of 5 eggsfirst one card failed and then newegg

Pros: looks nice, fairly quiet, no separate power connection,
great performance for the size/cost

Cons: two identical cards in identical PCs. One failed, one hasn't.
swapped the cards around and the artifacting/crashing followed the card.
Be aware - Newegg's 30 day return policy is really 30 days minus shipping time

Other Thoughts: bought the cards to repurpose a couple retired workstations. Best card I could find at the time that fits a single slot

Manufacturer Response:

Hello and thank you for the thorough review, we appreciate the postive feedback.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Impressive specifications for a single slot card.

Cons: Tried this card in three different workstations and the card simply would not display on all three video ports; all three ports would provide an output but never on more than two at once. Since the literature that came with the card shows that it should provide a 3 monitor output using the Display port, HDMI port, and DVI port, I have to assume the card I received is defective.

Other Thoughts: You have to make an account with XFX for support and fill out a form, I gave them 2 days to respond and hadn't heard back from them so I will be returning this card as defective.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the review. In order to get a 3rd monitor working at the same time, you need to use a displayport monitor, or an approved ACTIVE display port adapter. A normal passive displayport adapter wont work as the 3rd monitor, only a 1st or second.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Very good one slot card that does the basic job of video and light gaming. I use GPU's like this when I built thin and light systems. If you are looking for a great card for an HTCP or low power energy efficient rig this and the NVidia 750ti is it. These cards are made for having great performance and an outstanding price.

IF you don't know what one slot mean, it means that if you are like me and have a motherboard with expansion slots that are close together you don't have to worry about covering the adjacent slot like you would with a double slotted GPU.

Cons: Doesn't have dinner cooked when I get home.

Manufacturer Response:

Excellent. Thank you for the great review. We are happy you are pleased.
