2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works with Vista

Cons: Doesn't fit in my 2u server case, as mentioned before it is a half inch too high.

4 out of 5 eggsIt does the job so far...

Pros: Vista compatible. Supports Aero.
Good price/performance ratio.

Cons: Does not come with low profile mounting bracket. Looks cheap.

Other Thoughts: I have been using it for about a month. Do not have any complaints so far.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work with Dell SFF GX260

Pros: Don't really have any, Probably would have ran games decently?

Cons: This card isnt exactly "low profile". I bought this card along with the low profile bracket kit to install in a Dell SFF GX260 system. The card is actually half an inch or so bigger than a standard low profile video card. Meaning it's too tall for the case to be able to fold back down.

Other Thoughts: I'm sure the card would have given some pretty good performance, but it's not quite "low profile".

*NOTE* My rating is only because of the fact that the card did not work in my system. I'm not rating the actual performance of this card. I'm sure it would have been quite good. I assumed it would work in a system needing a low profile card being it is advertised as low profile and because of the fact that another reviewer installed one in a Dell GX270. I guess the case deminsions on that model must allow for more height.

Now it's time to return this :(

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: An affordable card for low-end gaming and desktop work. Easily pushed 1600 x 1200 for Windows XP. Plays WoW just fine at 1024 x 768 with almost full textures and detail.

Cons: Because this is the Mobility (Laptop) chipset, drivers can be difficult to find. I used the Omega drivers despite not being offically supported. They detected and installed better than the CD that came with the card.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an easy install or high-end gaming, bite the bullet and get a real Radeon for about fourty to fifty more.

5 out of 5 eggsThought of It

Pros: Well i bought it for my friend
and he says its perfect for his desktop a job well done guys

Cons: Dunno, what about you?

Other Thoughts: I keep on thinking though because it says Moblility it keeps on reminding me about the Laptop version of a graphics card. My question is that what is the difference between this card and the ones compatible for a laptop or is this it?

Cons: No real low profile bracket, gonna have to dremmel my own.

Other Thoughts: for drivers go here ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/mobility-xp.html

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Linux

Pros: Performance (for the money), Small size won't crowd a small case. Silent.

Cons: Runs a little hot due to passive cooling but you probably will be able to overclock a little.

Other Thoughts: For those who want Mac OSX's eyecandy but can't afford Mac Hardware this card works great on XGL enabled Linux. (autodetected on most all distros, no need for driver installation). Also performed a little better than my GeForce FX5500 w/ 256MB.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a tight budget

Pros: Cheap, and small. Good performance/price ratio.

Cons: Old drivers, had trouble finding driver update. Eventually just installed Omega Drivers.

Other Thoughts: What do you expect for under f.ifty bucks? Driver update to latest Omega Drivers only took my 3DMark03 from 2630 to 2697, so you really should be fine w/ the drivers supplied with the card.
