Cons: Broken card, broken drivers, horrible tech support. Emailed AMD/ATI and it took 5 days to get a response, and that response ask me questions that I had already included all the information to in the original ticket.
Other Thoughts: Buy Nvidia, if you have problems you can actually get help. Bought for a customers computer that surpassed all requirements, card was an add on since on board graphics didn't support the 22" monitor resolution. 8 days later and I got the second response to my help request and they again asked the same questions that I have already answered. It was installed in the machine after it had been formatted and had xp reloaded on it, all drivers were updated to the newest ones available. I tried 3 different PCI slots and 3 different drivers, newest ones from ATI, ones from cd, and older one and still did not work. The onboard graphics were disabled and the ATI card was primary. I went and bought an Nvidia card since I cant make customers wait that long for help and it worked without any problems. I will never buy another ATI product, I am out money and didn't get any help.

Why are you expecting Miracles

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I agree with the other reviewers - this card isn't meant for gaming and DON"T EXPECT MIRACLES. It's a PCI card with an old technology GPU (look at the specs).
It's great for adding additional monitors to your computer. I have three 17" monitors connected via DVI to my work computer (2 on Radeon X500 and 1 on Radeon 9250). I've been using this card for over a year and I don't see any difference between the 2 cards. It was plug-n-Play since the other card was a ATI.
Cons: Just a note - It's ready not intended for High Quality Resolution and quality video playback.
Other Thoughts: My work computer is a Dell Optiplex GX620. Also, it's great for keeping an old motherboard alive with a bad onboard video or AGP slot.
Thank you for your purchase and your valuable feedback.
The HIS 9250 128MB 64-bit DDR PCI is a great upgrade to PCI based motherboard, adding additional monitors connection to your desktop. Besides, it supports Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1 feature sets, enhancing the in-game performance and enabling more complex and realistic lighting effects.
