4 out of 5 eggsGood, depending on your case

Pros: Performs pretty well, has 24 shaders which is a big advantage for turning up detail in recent games.

Cons: Cooling is insufficient depending on your case.

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for about 6 months, and tried it in 3 different computer cases. The first case was an Antec Aria, and this card would constantly overheat. In an Apevia X-Qpack case, it worked great because the power supply fan is directly above the video card. The third case was an Antec mid tower, and I had to add a case fan to keep this from overheating, which kinda ruins the point of a fanless video card.

Ultimately, I sold off this card to a friend and bought a Radeon X1900 and a Zalman cooler for about the same price. Better performance and more reliable cooling. Overall, good but not a long term solution.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is completely silent and works great if your pc has good ventilation. Performs amazingly.

Cons: Haven't found anything bad about it.

Other Thoughts: Great value for such a powerful great card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC Build!

Pros: Great all-purpose card for HTPC setup. Plays back high-resolution video without a hitch. Completely fanless and not overgrown - perfect for the HTPC environment. Great bang for the buck! Compatible with ATI TV Wonder 650 including AVIVO support. Runs cool (65nm GPU) doesn't put off much heat. Component-out to HDTV works like a charm even in BIOS.

Cons: Haven't tried it gaming but from the reviews I've read, it's better than average for currently available games. AVIVO support doesn't seem to integrate into Vista as well as PureVideo codecs but thats just my opinion.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a well-rounded card that would fit nicely and my HTPC. The PCB and heatsink is not overgrown like some passive combinations. With a properly vented HTPC case (mine is a mATX), you shouldn't expect difficulties with high temps.

5 out of 5 eggsThis card is great, people don't know what they are talking about.

Pros: This card performs great for the money. With 2 of these cards I scored over 6000 in 3DMARK06. NOT bad for two hundred. There has not been a game yet that I can't run on full graphics.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: People say these cards run a little hot. Keep in mind they are fanless and do need some air flow around the heat sinks to properly cool. Also if you think that no crossfire connectors is a scam, try pricing the cards that come with connection cables. They are at least $25 more. People cry about anything.

5 out of 5 eggsOne more thing...

Pros: great card

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Someone mentioned this card runs hot. Well I tested it with actual equipment and the temperatures that were read off are normal (under full load). So I don't know where that statement came from. If it doesn't have a sensor built in how would you know it's too hot? Anyway, I actually tested it and everything runs within spec.

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC CARD! I was amazed!

Pros: I've put together and sold dozens of computers and this is hands down the best graphics card I've seen for the money. It doesn't have any issues running the more demanding games like oblivion on maximum settings. Also, it's completely silent. No need to worry about noise! Great product by HIS. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Cons: None so far (after several months) on any of the systems I've used it with.

Other Thoughts: If you want a quiet inexpensive card that performs just as well or better than a LOUD expensive (but still high quality) card then this is for you.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is silent. Cheap.

Cons: I thought this would be a lot better than my X600 but is just barely better. Also, the fact that this takes up 2 add-on slots is a pain for my BTX case.

Other Thoughts: I bought this not too long ago and would like to get something better already. This isn't worth it.

2 out of 5 eggs256MB to 512MB a downgrade??

Pros: Cheap for a 512MB card with 24pixel pipelines and high benchmarks.

Cons: Card does run hot. Not DirectX10 compatible.

Other Thoughts: I thought I would upgrade from a 256MB card to a 512MB card. When I bought this card, my graphics got WORSE. I experience slower frame rates, rendering problems, and occasional freezing. Maybe this card was just a lemon??

5 out of 5 eggsTo the poster below:

Pros: Silent!

Cons: For the low $100s, none.

Other Thoughts: "I doubt it's HIS's fault, it's probably in ATI's fine print."

No, it absolutely is HIS's decision whether or not to bundle a crossfire bridge in their package.
