ATI’s CrossFire technology lets you add a second video card for more power. However with this Radeon x1950PRO card from HIS you might not need to, though the option is there. The GPU runs at a quick 575MHz and the memory clock speeds along at 1380MHz for extreme performance. The 256MB of GDDR3 memory has a wide 256bit pathway reducing bottlenecks to a minimum.
The high efficiency cooling system ensures lower operating temperatures for both the GPU and memory and extends the life of the card. The enclosed air path acts as both an additional heatsink, but also serves to keep the moving air close to the components, maximizing efficiency.
When you’re done gaming you can use your system as a video editing machine with Avivo technology. So, whatever your needs HIS has you covered.

Bang for the buck! - fits in Dell E52x
- Pros: Untouchable performance for a card in this price range. The built in cooler is adequately quiet for me even under load during 3dmark, quake, UT benchmark runs. Noticeable upgrade over my X800 GTO. Mine came with a pci e power adapter cable! If you are on a budget - buy this card!
- Cons: No bundle - but who really cares about that anymore - price matters!
- Other Thoughts: This card fits great in my Dell E521 - and I have had no issues running with the stock Dell 305 WATT PS. I only have 1 HDD and 1 optical drive, 2 DIMMS and a A64 x2 3600+, so if I add more I may run out of juice but will wait and see.
Great Card
- Pros: Quiet. Great performance.
- Cons: Gets a bit hot, price you pay for being quiet I guess.
- Other Thoughts: On a 2.4GHz Intel core2duo system w/2GB RAM, it plays Battlefield 2 at 1680x1050 w/ maximum settings and 4x AA between 60-100 FPS. Battlefield 2142 at 1680x1050 w/ max settings and 2x AA between 45-75 FPS.
