2 out of 5 eggsRMA took 12 days +an extra $9.20

Pros: Overnight shipping, Newegg did a good job considering the faulty card was clearly a factory reject. I would have scored this transaction @ 4 but the replacement came in a badly damaged box. I will continue to recommend Newegg to everyone I know. The card works just fine, installed the latest Catalyst driver from the Ati DL page, it took 10 minutes to install and I was off to the races.

Cons: It cost me $9.20 to ship the first defective card back, and it took 12 days from the initial purchase date to get a card that I expected and paid for overnight delivery... the second card appears to be working fine, Even though the box arrived badly damaged, (Ups box was undamaged) I actually wondered if the new card would work due to the extent of damage. The package damage was just another level of stress Newegg should have spared me.

Other Thoughts: So the final total... shipping cost me over $30 for an overnight delivery that took 12 days, I realize that Stuff happens but I would be more receptive if Newegg would have sent me a courtesy coupon with my new card, to compensate me for the inconvenience. A 5% coupon would go along way to show me that my patronage is appreciated and would have changed this review considerably. At the end of the day it should never be the responsibility of the customer to cover shipping costs due to faulty/defective merchandise, that should be charged to the manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card, installation was easy, runs cool 49c, quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Newegg got this card to me in 2 days flat! there is alot of confusion regarding powering this card, and HIS does'nt make it any easier. I have an Antec Neopower 650 PSU with 3 - 12V, 19A rails. Everything I read suggested splitting the power between 2 of the rails. This PSU comes with a Pcie connector in the primary bundle (not the modular acessory cables). Powered it with that cable and it works super.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Serious overkill for a 5 year old box, but I dusted this off recently and wanted better video. This replaced an ati Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb, which had a dead fan anyway...Runs cod4 well, excellent HD video quality, runs cool and quiet.

Cons: None so far...this really is overkill for my system, just biding time until i can build a new one

Other Thoughts: dfi lp nfII ultra B mobo
athlon 1800+ oc'd 2.4ghz
1.5 gb ddr
wd 120gb ide
sb audigy se

4 out of 5 eggsgood purchase

Pros: paid 120.00 for it. Fastest card i have ever had by far but i have been out of the game for awhile. its much more quiet than my x1600 pro which is odd to say but it is. 4 stars woudl have gotten 5 but a minor issue

Cons: i do have a brightness issue with the card, i installed catalyst 8.12 and all games are working great but when i switch back to desktop the gamma goes up or something. not a big deal though at all.. i just click on ccc and it returns to normal. oddly enough

Other Thoughts: i bought this card with a slight risk, in that my system is old a via 400 chipset an amd anthlon 2800 xp.. so this card is a little much for my rig, so i upgraded to an amd 4200 dual core and A8V-X asus k8t800 costed me with the card 400 dollars.. bad move on my part, because i could have gotten a new rig for that amount of loot.. this rig is good though i play crysis on med/high settings now but not as good as crossfire pci express could have been. so basically what i am trying to say unless you have an upper range agp dual core board i wouldnt go any higher than a x1650 pro

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent

Pros: It is a marked improvement over my older video card (6800xt). Can run in my motherboard (Socket A, AGP 4x 1.5V only).

Cons: This really isn't a con but it finding a power supply that can power this video card (needs somewhat heavy 12V amperage like 30A) but also an old AMD Socket A motherboard (heavy on 5V amperage like 35A) is difficult since all such PSU's were made around 4 years ago. This would be a non-issue if you have an Intel motherboard.

Other Thoughts: The drivers on the CD don't work. Catalyst 7.7 works fine though.

4 out of 5 eggsWorld in Conflict champ

Pros: runs World in Conflict better then the pro's.. so if you are an RTS junkie. this little honey is for you

Cons: yea it runs WIC really well.. but thats it... if u wanna run other newer games, it doesnt stand a chance in comparison to the bigger newer faster cards

Other Thoughts: cheese in the fan doesnt make it cooler

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT FOR XP!

Pros: Great card for Windows XP! Runs Crysis and High settings at 1280x1024 with acceptable frames. Upgraded from a 7800 gs and a world of difference. The 36 shader pipes helps greatly with new games! Best AGP, other than the XT version, you can get!

Cons: Requires a good Power Supply! Check your power supply and the requirements of the card!

Other Thoughts: This card will not operate under Vista with the Nforce 3 or lower boards and a AMD X2 processor. The only way you can get it to work is to disable 1 core, then it will work fine, but you loose a core! Nvidia seems to not be releasing an update to there motherboard drivers to fix this issue, and may never! As I said, GREAT for XP! Vista, not so good if you have the above setup!

4 out of 5 eggsAdded much needed life to my system

Pros: Makes a world of difference when playing new video games. A great Card for an old system (Gen 2 XPS), such as mine.

Cons: I the card it to work in XP only.

Other Thoughts: It could be just me, but I could not get it to work in Vista. Throw this card on a Xp system and it blows through COD 4 with out a scratch.

5 out of 5 eggsNice nice nice!

Pros: This card is nice! Runs Crysis on high settings and Call of Duty 4 with everything turned up to the max. Good deal, Fast shipping, and no problems.

Cons: Only thing is its huge. I had to move 2 of my hard drives no big deal just make sure you have alot of room behind your AGP slot other than that nothing is wrong with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsAGP Lives Another Day

Pros: I upgraded from an old ATI Radeon 9600Pro.

This card may be the last stand for AGP users, and it does not disappoint. It gave new life to the games I play and will allow me to extend the life of my AGP-based system for a good while.

At the time I purchased, HIS was offering solid rebates, and at the time of this posting months later, they still are. It's a great value.

Cons: None. With the proper ventilation and power supply, it runs beautifully and I have not experienced any issues.

Other Thoughts: This card has high power requirements like many mid to high end PCI-Express cards. Make sure your power supply is up to the task, I was able to run it wonderfully with a SILVERSTONE ST50EF-Plus (Newegg sells this as well.) If your power supply is not quality and doesn't put out enough 12V amps, you may have stability issues. This is true for all high end graphics cards.
