4 out of 5 eggsCard is OK

Pros: Works Beautifully when it actually works.

Cons: Keeps freezing my system. As the reviewer stated before me, it does run hot and makes everything freeze. I get no blue screen, just total system lockup and event viewer also doesn't pick anything up as to why it froze. I have tried every driver. Just doesn't want to run for very long. It will run from 6 minutes to 9 hours before freezing.

Other Thoughts: Could have a much better cooling system. Under normal use, its running at 136F. I have an older Socket 754 Athlon 64 3200, 1.5 GB RAM, and a GA-K8NS Pro Mobo. Now I have had an X1600 Pro and that worked perfect with no problems. Had a power spike and blew it out so I was stuck with an old card. Thought I would revive my system as I cant afford to move to newer technology.

5 out of 5 eggsTook a while to get it going...

Pros: Great card for the money, HDMI adapter included.

Cons: Runs VERY hot!

Other Thoughts: Bought this so I could play HD discs on my 32" monitor. It would run fine for a while, then my system would freeze. Tried all the HIS drivers, and the Omegas. No help. Got a RMA to return it, ad then noticed it was VERY HOT. Even with 2 80mm case fans. Upgraded my CPU cooling and both case fans, not it runs great (Still on the Omega Drivers).

Pros: It's theoretically a good video card

Cons: I have RMA'd this card twice and both of them do not work, the card dies when I'm using the Internet, it can't even seem to handle doing nothing. There are no drivers that help, I've tried it on XP, and vista. I've tried Omega drivers, the manufacturer drivers, the ATI drivers, no improvement whatsoever. Cannot run flight simulator. I even completely rebuilt my computer and it still didn't help.

Other Thoughts: DO not buy this video card, buy something else!!!

1 out of 5 eggsLook elsewhere...

Pros: Specifications would make you think its a lot of video card for the $$$.

Cons: I couldn't get this card to work with Win XP on 2 different motherboards, I tried on a Soyo ATI RC350-chipset MB and an Asus Intel865PE-chipset MB... both AGP 8x equipped?!?!
I only had one success... on an ancient VIA KM266 based MB with 4x AGP v2.0.

Other Thoughts: I would seriously consider looking @ another card manufacturer... I'm guessing these HIS cards have some serious compatibility issues if trying to upgrade a system.
If you are building/reinstalling the O/S on your system, you might have better luck (I've yet to try this method)!

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the trouble

Pros: Awesome graphics when it actually performs.

Cons: Constantly crashing my computer due to an ati2dvag error. I am replacing it as soon as possible with a GForce compatable because I am sick of trying to get Windows to like ATI drivers. Not worth the hassle.

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy for the money

Pros: This card give new life of my veri old PC. Good buy for the money. It's play games mutch better from my old Geforce MX200, but more important for me is it's HD outlet and multimedia options. It's have perfect TV-out.

Cons: Great product if you are looking for high multimedia options. If more inportant for you is games chose something else.

Other Thoughts: Some times makes problems with drivers for the HD Audio.

4 out of 5 eggsokay.

Pros: This card runs cs very well i see someone sayd cod4 too im glad to hear im going to buy it i wanted to see if it would work, kinda why i got a 512. has all new end design for new games it tis very nice for the money.

Cons: well the drivers on the site blow. evertime i would either tab out of counter strike or exit counter strike my comptuer would restart. so i had to get ride of those drivers and i am currently running omega drivers. its great that a company cant even make there own graphics drivers but the omega drivers rock. so far no problems other than the hassle of dealing with it. and it deff took me a week to get these drivers set up due to me thinking that maybe it was the card itself but come to find out just the drivers. the other thing is the fan is kinda flimzy. so i was looking at the fanless heatsink for it cost some more money but its almost a must if you are going to be overclocking.. so there goes my rebate money. haha .

Other Thoughts: deff a high end card for low cost. good deal i am pleased. like i said omega drivers rock. get a new heatsink for it if your going to overclock, i wouldnt trust that flimsy fan. i cant believe they would put a product out actually with that fan on it but i dont own the company. decent product something to get by till i get a quad core haha.

4 out of 5 eggsEh....

Pros: Good Vid Card for the $ amount..
Runs COD2 and COD4 really good.. Makes things come alive...

Cons: As posted before the clockings arent correct on site.. and you cant really over clock it anymore that pretty much what its set for...

Other Thoughts: Its cheap and pretty fast for an AGP card if you got the extra cash and dont want to go broke this is a pretty well rounded card

3 out of 5 eggsmeh...

Pros: good bang for the buck value. plays old school games with high settings and very high fps. even plays next gen games alright. very easy to install and had no problems

Cons: the specs on the website dont match the actual specs. they claim it has a core clock of 600 mhz and mem clock at 800 mhz but after installing and updating it really only showed a mem clock of 400 mhz. core was still 600 mhz. even with ati's overdrive, the mem clock can only reach 550 mhz.

Other Thoughts: this was my first time installing a graphics card so i was fairly new at this. i had to purchase a new power supply as well. it plays ut3 on full detail settings at 1024 x 768 res.and runs abt 20-25 fps but it also has the same fps at 200 by 320 res. at the lowest detail. so im not sure if its like that about all graphics cards or just this one
