5 out of 5 eggsBang for the Buck

Pros: Fast, quiet, inexpensive, red... affordable CrossFire. This is a very refined video card for the money. Runs almost completely silent and doesn't require a monster power supply. Plays the latest games at high resolution and settings with ease. CrossFire has finally matured - I get double the framerate in CoD4 vs. a single card.

Cons: HIS is about to release their IceQ Turbo 3 model. the Turbo 3 will come factory overclocked and will have IceQ's custom cooling solution, which is superior to the stock unit on this card. IceQ runs cooler and quieter.

Other Thoughts: Nothing from Team Green can touch this video card for price/performance. I bought two on the day they were released and haven't looked back since. I love these cards. They make my old 1900XT CrossFire setup look primitive.

5 out of 5 eggsHIS Hightech HD3870

Pros: Great Card, Great Software Bundle, Mail in Rebate and Fast Shipping.

Cons: Demand is Greater than Supply

Other Thoughts: Now I'm waiting on NewEgg to stock the IceQ3 Turbo version of this Card!

5 out of 5 eggsGood card, HORRIBLE service

Pros: Card worked great until it started artifacting (NO OC, etc.). Runs almost equivalently one of the newest games out, Crysis as its rival counterpart. Runs cool, quiet, and was cheap when just released.

Cons: Newegg. RMA'd and was waiting for replacement, email I received stated I would receive comparable replacement or refund for CURRENT MARKET VALUE (249). Didn't get either, got refunded back less than originally paid even though I spoke with CS and was assured I would receive word about my replacement.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's attitude, atleast the rep I dealt with, was horrible. Didn't want to help in anyway. Had to keep at it until a supervisor agreed to sell me a 3870 at 219 like original, but I still lost 10 dollars and time going through all this. Never had to RMA with Newegg, this being first time, and a horrible one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great card. I play all of the latest games at 1920 X 1200 except Crysis. I'm pleased with it. Assists nicely with 1080P playback.

Cons: none really, great for its price range

Other Thoughts: To get a stable clock of 850 core and 1300 (doubled is 2600) mem I used Riva*tuner and speed up fan to 80%.

1 out of 5 eggsJon

Pros: I wish I could test it out, but good price, especially with the rebate.

Cons: BE VERY CAREFUL about your motherboard size. Although dimensions not listed on newegg, the card is VERY LARGE, and will not fit into a lot of motherboards.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to measure your case and all components around where this will go to ensure that it will fit.

5 out of 5 eggsI Love this baby

Pros: Very fast. Runs 3DMark06 all default 11117 with my 2.4GHz Q6600.
Has a nice OC ability. I overclock ed it to 850/2770, and get 13943 in 3DMark06 with a 3.6GHz Q6600. It looks cool. Large beautiful heat sink. This is a perfect card with a bonus $20 MIR!!!! Also, newegg's shipping was fast.

Cons: HIS should add more games to this baby. At least HL2-EP2!

Other Thoughts: nVIDIA should work faster or they will lose.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Picture Quality and colors are top notch. Quiet; Can't hear it over any of my other fans. Comes with DVI to VGA, DVI to HDMI, S-video to composite, crossfire adapter. 2.0/dx10.1 card.

Cons: I bought this to replace an aging e-vga 7950GT KO (256bit/512ddr3). Going by benches in "a return to competition" article, this card should be roughly twice as fast as the 7950GT. If I were judging Picture Quality and Color, 3870 wins hands down, frame rate wise... I doesn't seem any faster to me. I tend to hitch/chop more with this card than with the 7950. (used same settings in game: High Quality)
But...the picture is beautiful, colors are right, black is BLACK, white is white. The card would be a good value if it were still 219, at 269, I thinks not such a good value.

Other Thoughts: Card is rather large, had to move one of my HD's down for it to fit. Dual slot cooling seems to work well. I have this in an MSI P6N SLI, 2x1G G.Skill DDR800, 650w ps, Vista Ultimate 64-bit. 4 = Good according to neweggs rating system. I do think its a "good" card, excellent would be 8800ultra. Also, make sure you read the return policy before you buy. I didn't and this card is return for exact replacement only. If I could, I would return it and get the 8800GT instead.( I would even go back to my 7950 and wait til the 8800GT came in stock.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: This card is fantastic for the price. It's quiet and has impressive performance.

Cons: Card is large...make sure you check for room before purchasing.

Other Thoughts: The best bang for the buck would be to purchase two of these and crossifre them.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card, better price!

Pros: Cheap (atleast when I bought it), I see the price has gone up, but it's worth every penny. HDMI 5.1 built in (less cables), Quieter, cooler, and uses less power when idle than the other company's counter part. Performance is top notch! Replaced 320MB 8800 with this, very noticeable difference, positive results!

Cons: Runs a bit hotter and draws more power than the other company's counter part when under load, but still very acceptable.

Other Thoughts: I had 8800GTS' and now have an 8800GT in my PC, I bought this card for my wife's PC, but was a it worried from reading about the AA problems. After comparing both cards, I run Crysis with 4x AA with this card and it shows awesome detail and quality and side to side with the 8800GT, I couldnt tell any differences. Yes, it gets a bit less frames (5-10) at the most, but for this price, I don't dare to complain. Also, a card with built in HDMI sound, even though not the best, is unique and awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet Little Monster

Pros: Great upgrade for previous gen (Directx 9C) owners.
I can play everything (except Crysis) on my 42" Sharp LCD at 1080p
Much quieter and cooler than an 2900XT...even better than my old card with a Zalman VF900

Cons: Graphics Bundles aren't what they used to be.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is really fast in order processing
Seriously thinking about ditching my Intel Bad Axe + Core 2 Duo for a Spider platform...seems like a better long-term upgrade path (CPU + 4 GPUs) for a quiet gaming system
