Pros: This card has a good exterior look. The fan is super quiet and doesnt get very hot.

Cons: Install it, and as i play crysis 1650-1050 resolution i kinda of got laggs. also i was dissapointed playing css and dods with laggs on this card. this card is ridiculous. i wouldnt recommend anyone to buy this card. hightech makes cheap ridiculous ugly cards. their products sucks.

Other Thoughts: not recommend for gaming or multimedia. go buy a geforce 8800gs for this price.

Pros: Very nice looking card. Like the over clocked utility that comes with it. Bought a pair and am running them crossfire. Gotta say it is godly! There is not a game I don't run on highest now. Which is exactly what I'm going for.

Cons: kinda sucks that you have to turn this sexy thing upside down to use it. Hence you can't see the sexy blue fan & cover & stuff. But hey...for the price....buy two & crossfire them...you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Great card, runs fast. Plays all my games awesome. I have played new games like COD4 on the card and it works great and old games like Starcraft, Freespace, Diablo 2, NFS HP2. All games run great. I have also been running Folding at Home on the card for over almost 2 months and not had any problems at all. (For those who don't know, F@H makes the card run at 100% all the time to do protein folding for research, it makes the card get very hot. I have never had the card run into the red by ATI's over drive temp sensors.)

Cons: none that I can tell.

Other Thoughts: I first head some horror stories about the card, and was tempted not to get it. Don't use 3rd party drives like the Omega drives with the card, they don't work as well as the ATI drives. Found that out the hard way.

Pros: Heard many hooro stories about this card getting hot, drivers not working, computer crash. But I have to say, since I have owned this card it has worked great without any problems. So I have left to deduct that previous owners of this card had issues with their software prior to installing this card. Card does run a little warm but will within tolerances.

Cons: Price, and overall stability. Never owned a HIS card before and I was very happy with it.

Other Thoughts: Never let reviews "especially bad ones" determine your purchase. If it meets the specs and price your looking for get it. Most people like to consider themselves knowlegable about tech specs, but are just repeating information they read on-line.

Cons: But even when I updated the driver, I get these random driver crashes where the screen fuzzes blackes out then vista catches it then restarts driver saying it has recovered then doesnt give you a way to fix it. So in reality its only compatible with vista in the way that it can recover from its frequent crashes.

Pros: Card worked as expected.

Cons: HIS refused the rebate. I had several for several components purchased at the same time- Newegg's great making the right forms available - and I definitely included everything, triple-checked and photocopied. Notice from HIS says "a required items was missing" and doesn't say what item was missing. Of course, I cannot resubmit because they accept only originals.

If you're happy with the price excluding the rebate, go ahead and buy HIS. Otherwise, pass on HIS.

Other Thoughts: There's nothing worse you can do to a customer than convince him you deceived him.

Pros: Generally, a good card. especially for the price, this is a great deal. I get plenty of fps at 1680x1050 resolution and medium/high settings on call of duty4. CS:S never goes under 60 fps at the same resolution, with everything maxed (on CS:S's video test, it got 61.44 average fps).

Cons: Though it usually does very well on games, in guild wars it tended to drop fps all the way down to as low as 5, when lots of things were blowing up. and on World of warcraft, for the age of the game and low graphics, this card was surprisingly low. 17-25 I think (max graphic settings).

Other Thoughts: this card runs pretty cool, my previous card would run at 70c all the time, this one hardly breaks 50c. this card also makes for a good crossfire card, since the price is relatively cheap, cross-firing wouldn't cost too much. the performance increase was very noticeable.

Pros: Great video card, not one problem yet, running vista, and all direct x 10 games so far so good.

Cons: Not best on market, but good for the price

Cons: the card is real choppy and laggy, it runs extremely hot. I even downloaded updated drivers from ATI to try to fix the choppiness out , but to no luck

Other Thoughts: they say the card is backwards compatible with pci express 16, but i dont think so, I tried it in 3 different computers with the same problem in all three, and when I installed my 1800gts card in any of the 3, I had no problem at all, I sent it back to New Egg...time for tha pro1900 card this time around
