5 out of 5 eggsPerfect value at this price!

Pros: I'm very happy with this purchase, I just bought a second 5770 to use in Crossfire, if I had waited a few days I would have bought another HIS but they were out of stock at the time.

This has run without any issues and for not being the highest end card the price vs performance is very nice. With crossfire its the best bang for the buck you can get at that price.

Cons: I do get the driver has not responded problem but it has never happened while gaming and is likely a conflict with my browser and something else on my system as it only happens when I'm in firefox and then only occassionally. Again likely a system issue with Win 7 and something else. Not a problem or issue with the card.

Other Thoughts: This was my first HIS purchase and after being an XFX guys with NVIDIA before I'm very happy. This is a quality product.

5 out of 5 eggs5770

Pros: This thing eats every game I have alive. coming from a 7800 I don't know how I played games before. The price is awesome ( when it was 175 when I bought it). This card runs cool and uses little power. The graphics are truly amazing. Runs COD4 on max settings, L4D runs on the highest setting. WoW runs on ultra. Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars runs on ultra. That's all the games I have tested so far. All at 1680x1050

Cons: None that I can find. I haven't had any problems with drivers.

Other Thoughts: At first I didn't think I was going to have such good frame rates because how old my system is. These are my specs:

Pentium D 3.2 running at 3.8
4 gigs of PQI 800 running at 860
2x 300G Vraptors running in RAID

So any one with a C2D or above will have better results. Also my mobo has PCIX 1.0. I have nothing against ATI or Nvidia, but I don't understand why people would buy yesterdays tech when there something new and better out there. I almost bought a 260GTX that was until I found that they had DX11 cards out.

1 out of 5 eggsMight be great if it worked

Pros: Low power use, quiet, supports DirectX11, Eyefinity tech seems like it could be very cool

Cons: Nothing but problems with this card. I think it is a Radeon issue, not specifcally a HIS brand issue. List of problems I had:

1. Driver/card goes into VPU recover mode when trying to awaken the PC. I leave PC on all the time and turn off my LCD. Many times, I come back the no signal sent to the LCD display.
2. Intermittent digital artifacts on screen, small horizontal lines. Tried DVI and VGA cables, still see them.
3. Random lock ups in games (WoW, Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3) where screen turns all of one color. Have to reset PC to "fix" this.
4. Low FPS under Win7. Tried this card on a fresh Win7 install, and had a huge FPS drop playing same games. They do run well on my WinXP install.

I had issues like this with a Radeon card over 4 years ago that prompted my to switch to Nvidia. Thought I'd try Radeon again with this card, and have all the same problems. Very frustrating, but back to Nvidia for me.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I've just had bad luck and purchased two defective Radeon cards, but odds of that seem very low given purchases were 4 plus years apart. My PC hardware is totally different as well. In my experience, Radeon cards just don't seem to work well.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: This thing is fantastic. Runs any game i have on full settings without even breaking a sweat. supports dx11

Cons: goofy video drivers. even after the updated drivers on 11/17/09 this thing likes to freeze up the system once in a while. For some reason it seems to only do it when another application goes fullscreen and the Ste*m application is running in the background, though Ste*m games have no problems themselves. Im sure it will get resolved soon but its annoying to have to close out of Ste*m just to run Warcr*ft for example.

Other Thoughts: overall good buy. i would purchase another one knowing the slight issues i do now. the performance makes up for it

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Even with my low end dual core AMD Athlon 4200+ , with everything on highest settings in fallout 3 I stay at 35-50 fps in CoD MW2 with everything on highest settings I get 75 fps and never goes above 55C. Not to mention the little gamers tool kit and Dirt 2 for free.

Cons: So far none.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy I got it when it was 15 bucks cheaper although knowing how good it is I would have payed $200 for it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: The Card has a feature that lets you manually adjust the fan speed as you please. Fast card, also, runs very cool (big suprise for me). Runs cooler than the 3450 i had in there beforehand; very nice cooling/fan setup.

Cons: THIS THING IS MASSIVE, barely got it into my pc, the 6 pin connector is a PITA to get it in the card. Drivers are a little buggy, and the directions are set-up a little badly.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Card

Pros: Very very good card. Ran alot of benchmarks. Downloaded the Left 4 Dead 2 demo and cranked the settings to max (8x AA etc get the idea) and even under the most intense parts of the game, the card never hitched, and when I tabbed out, it was only at 57 degrees F. Very good cooling, I can't hear it at all, and it benchmarks very well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Excellent money to quality/fps buy. I'm very pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good

Pros: - Its an awesome card for the money.
- Only uses one PCI-E connector.
- Quiet
- Small (any Mid-Tower should accommodate it)

Cons: - 128-bit bus

Other Thoughts: A lot of people are saying to buy the 4890 over this. I'm just a casual gamer so I don't care about the 5% performance difference. The way i see it, this cards features offset that. It has DX11, uses way less power than the 4890 and most important, it has many driver updates to go through and will be supported longer than the 4890. Both cards are excellent bang-for-your-buck cards. It just depends on what you need out of a card.
