3 out of 5 eggsSpecs Good, Noise Bad

Pros: Decent graphics accelleration. Half-Life 2 and its successors play smoothly for most part when all setting are maxed out. It can use crossfire, but the lack of a bridge connector limits what perfomance boost you can get. The price isn't bad for what you are getting. It will definitely bring new life to your low-profile computer.

Cons: Of the two of these cards that I have installed, one's fan frequently hits a harmonic, causing quite distracting noise. It would seem that the fan wasn't balanced properly, either during assembly or manufacturing. I've had to keep the side panel of my case open, so that I can tap the fan as needed to shut the screaming banshee up, just to give you an idea of how frequently this occurs.

Other Thoughts: Where are the Radeon 6000 series low-profile cards?

4 out of 5 eggsIt fits, it works, can't complain

Pros: Fits into a very tight space in my Moneual LAB MonCaso 312B HTPC case, which requires a low-profile card that isn't very long. Fanless, so it is silent, and it seems to do a good job of dissipating heat. DirectX 11. I've put it through a couple of HD movies and no problems at all. All this combined with HDMI makes it a great fit for a HTPC.

Cons: Doesn't seem to have a lot of spunk but this machine isn't a gaming rig anyways.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: 2 gigs DDR3, Under $100, Plays almost any game I throw at it on the highest settings with no lag in the game, it's fan-less (no noise) and still runs pretty cool (warm to the touch but not hot).

Cons: It says low profile but the heat-sink adds about 1/4" to the card so if you have a small form factor build like me (optiplex 745), you may have to get creative with your box.

Other Thoughts: I would have given this card 5 eggs if it weren't for the hight factor of the heat-sink. If that isn't an issue for you or you can work around it like I have then this is an awesome card for the price.
