4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: Quiet, cool

~60 FPS on BF3 with mixed settings.

Stable.

Cons: Driver issues with Skyrim (not specific to this card, to ATI)

Other Thoughts: This card made be happy after coming from a dreadful GIGABYTE 560ti with dreadful support. This edged out its performance slightly, with much more stability.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Handles all my games just fine.

Cons: Crashes with a atikmap.sys bluescreen every couple of days. The strange thing about it is it only happens when I'm doing something not at all stressful to the card, like working in Excel.

Other Thoughts: I tried to update the drivers, I tried rolling back the drivers. I "tried" myself out of the return time frame here and now I can't find an easy way to contact HIS.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: Card is Fast.
Plays games at max setting.
Looks like it would cool well.........

Cons: Idle temp is between 45-52 at 85% fan speed
during gaming: temp between 80-86 with fan on 85%
with auto control, Temps stay in the low 80s
Seems to run very hot for all the marketing proclaiming it is ice cold......

i sent all the paper work in and have yet to receive my 20 Rebate
Disgusting lack of customer service

Other Thoughts: antec 1200, 4 intake fans 3 exhaust fants
i7-2600k - O.C. to 4.6 stable
Tuniq tower 120 extreme ( processor never goes above 35c)

5 out of 5 eggsThese Things Are Cool

Pros: - Fast, what you would expect from a high end AMD GPU. Not much else to say .
- Unique cooler performs and looks great.

Cons: - Price point is a tad higher than other similar boards, but the extra cooling definitely makes up for this.
- Not all that much different from an HD 6950 for quite a bit more.
- Size may be for some. Don't expect the cooler to fit well in smaller mid-sized cases. Allow for ample room. Also do your research to ensure you are going to have enough room for any extra expansion cards!

Other Thoughts: Purchased two of these monstrous bad boys for a new build. Took quite awhile to get them set up. Windows didn't recognize these cards in the same way they were able to accept my last gen HD 5870. You need to run all your updates before installing these cards or you'll be stuck with the infamous black screen of death. Other than that, I've been very happy so far. Eats Skyrim full blast with 8xAA no trouble at all. Will be installing custom texture packs later. Don't fret about getting Ivy Bridge and a 7900 series card. These will do just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsBeastly AND attractive!

Pros: Blue, different looking, easily the strongest part of my system, runs SC II and Skyrim with ease on Ultra.

Cons: None, maybe the size? Meh, I like huge cards.

Other Thoughts: Extremely pleased with purchase, will probably crossfire when price drops.

Averages 60+ fps in SC II and 30+ in Skyrim, but lets be real here, that's my CPU's fault.

My rig,
MSI 990FXA-GD80
AMD FX-6100
HIS IceQ 6970
Gskill ripjaws 16GB 1600 9-9-9-24
Crucial M4 128GB SSD
Zalman 9900 CPU cooler
AZZA Hurrican full tower

5 out of 5 eggsawesome card

Pros: This card is fast, runs every game I've tried at max settings. I bought it when it was 369$.

Cons: Price is now 399.99 want to get a second card for my rig but I'll wait till its below the price I paid for it or equal to what I paid.

Other Thoughts: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome

Pros: -Runs any game on max specs with good fps
-Is quite even under load
-price...i know 400$, but you really get your moneys worth, if your looking for a single card to max out any game this is the card your looking for. People might argue for the 570 but you will really be wishing you had the extra .8gbs for the upcoming games. Plus this things stays cool even under high load. Just an awsome card

Cons: none so far. Ive only had it for a week but ive been putting it threw the paces and havent found a flaw yet.

Other Thoughts: upgraded from a 5770. I was looking for a single card that could play anything with a little bit of future prof in it, and i didnt want to spend 500+ (yes im talking about you mr.580)

plus in a yea or 2 ill buy another once the price drops, but for right now you really dont need it

5 out of 5 eggsSICK!!!

Pros: great cooling, 7.9 on windows score with no overclocking. runs quit.

Cons: not the best looking card, but the design is more for function over form. Not even a con really.

Other Thoughts: This card is awesome, I had to 5830 Crossfired and I will not look back. I will be Crossfiring this card soon!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: the card is very quiet. Run cool preforms excellent.
battlefield 3 looks amazing
all of my old games look amazing
I'm waiting for COD M3 to come out.
With this card all my settings are set to ultra.
Absolutely amazing card well worth the money

Cons: it's huge. My replacement card was about three quarters the size of this card I had to do some major rearrangement to drive configuration and wire configuration in order to fit this card into my system. Well worth it

Other Thoughts: I've always enjoyed HIS they make great cards. I also get about 380Mhps. Great plus
