4 out of 5 eggsgood card and all but...

Pros: Maxes all of my games. Fast card.

Cons: For $40 to $50 less you could get a 7850 which is about the same wih less power draw or for about this price you could get gtx 660 or 570. Still a great card but just making suggesting cards to save money

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: I stuck one of these in my wife's rig and well...

-It handles every game and program we throw at it
-Runs cool and quiet
-Looks awesome

Cons: None whatsoever. We've had this for over a year and it's yet to show even an inkling of trouble. Great job HIS.

Other Thoughts: The videocard has no LED fan (Which would have been awesome, but that's asking too much from the GPU market these days.)

4 out of 5 eggsCould be worse

Pros: Card worked very well for the 11 months that it actually worked.
*Everything could be played on max graphics (Arkham City, Skyrim, Crysis 2, Battfield 3, Modern Warfare 3, and much more)

*

Cons: After just short of a year card started failing.
*Games that played perfect on high settings now lag
*Got noticeably louder than before

Other Thoughts: Honestly, this only the 2nd video card I've bought so I don't regret the decision to buy it, however I do wish I bought the 2 GB version and that the card would have lasted at least an entire year.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat VCard

Pros: Great card, put it into this years budget gaming rig. Runs everything ive put against it and max settings without a sweat(Batman Arkham City, Day Z, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, WOW: Cataclysm, Secret World, Mass Effect 3). Stays pretty cool as well.

Cons: It is a Little loud, but cant hear it anyway when headset or volume is up.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value, great performance

Pros: Performance, runs top end demanding games like Crysis 1/2, BF3, Batman Arkham City, etc. no hiccups, high settings.
Price
Runs cool (it better because the fan is a monster, see below)
HIGHLY overclockable, up to 30% with no voltage or temp increase, WOW!

Cons: Fan is SO LOUD, seriously, jet engine in your case.

Maybe not that bad, but still, you will notice it.

Other Thoughts: The 7000 series amd and 600 series nv are so overpriced for the performance. Last-gen cards can easily compete and do it on a much lower budget. Also HIS is typically a great quality card, I'm not sure reviewer below is being honest. I have bought exclusively HIS cards and none have ever failed me, must have been some serious bad luck for him. :/

5 out of 5 eggsFast Fast Fast!

Pros: -Fast card, runs BF3 on ultra 1080p no questions asked
-6970 un-lockable
-Runs cool
-Price (has kept value for over a year)

Cons: -Fan can be loud at times

Other Thoughts: Great card to this day, current gen GFX cards not worth the money, might as well skip the current gen cards honestly.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from HIS

Pros: None

Cons: I had purchased this card back in March. While running just the OS the card is quiet and makes no noise at all. During game play however it makes the most horrid noise I have ever heard a graphics card make. The best way I can describe the sound would be a Tesla coil going off 5 feet from my head. I had contacted HIS customer service to which the poorly written response was that this was normal for the card and not to worry. When I spend close to $300 on a card I do not expect to have to put headphones on and turn up the sound to drown out the sound from my card. I did my own research and found the sound could be a voltage regulator gone bad, the mosfets on the board overheating during use or same for choke coils. When I went into more detail than that with HIS letting them know what I had found they made me go through their lengthy RMA process. It took over a month for me to get a new card from them which did the exact same thing upon installing the card.

Other Thoughts: Once I told them I would simply like a refund on their product I did not get a response from 2 separate tickets still to this date. I was able to go through other channels and get my money back and the card returned.
Based on the sounds the card makes during game play and the poor service I received I will not be buying from HIS ever again ATI or Nvida if they make an Nvida card.

I have been building PC's and have worked in IT for the last 20 years and feel I have a pretty good grasp on technical issues.
PC Specs:
Intel Core i5
12GB DDR3 1333 RAM
120GB Intel SSD
1TB Western Digital HDD
650 Watt Power Supply
PC has more than enough juice to power the card. I am looking forward to putting in new card from a better company. Have had good luck with ATi cards and nothing against Nvidia but sorry I tried a new company for my card. Sometimes gambles like this do not pay off

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Gets to about ~58-60 celcius full load while I'm running the fan at 65%. BF3 plays nicely at high settings 1920 x 1080 resolution as long as you don't mind some dips into low 40's fps, medium will reach low 50's, I personally run it mostly everything low, with shadows on medium, mesh on medium, low AA post and it runs it a rock solid 60 fps (with 60hz refresh rate and vsync on). Didn't have any issues installing the card as well.

Cons: It seemed to have some issues with Portal 2, I think it might have to do with how a AMD card handles physics? Basically my old Nvidia card (gtx 550 ti) a much less powerful card handled the game no problem. Most of the time this Radeon card runs it fine, like 25% load but at some areas where there is like a bouncing cube on the screen, the card will suddenly full load and my fps would drop to like 10-15 fps, very odd. I haven't observed this with any other games yet.

Other Thoughts: Pretty happy. I bought it because it met the recommended spec for BF3. I'm not really anticipating a game I must play until Battlefield 4 anyway.

Specs:
core i5-2400 @ 3.1 ghz
8gb ddr3 1333
Radeon HD 6950 1gb

2 out of 5 eggsNot much improvement!

Pros: Not much to say really. I don't like the way it plays my C&CG game!

Cons: Seems a little bit faster but I don't notice it during game play. In fact I think it's worst!

Other Thoughts: Came to the conclusion that I am not a big radeon fan!
