4 out of 5 eggsOkay for Gaming

Pros: -Fanless
-Can run most modern games on low to medium settings
-Has an HDMI port
-Open GL 4.1 is great for Linux gaming
-Comes with a low profile bracket for slimline
-No PCI-e plug needed
-Heatsink wraps around (perfect for shuttle boxes)

Cons: -2 gig of Ram unnecessary because anything that would require it cannot run (maybe this is here for auto cad?)
-Can get pretty hot (obviously no fan) so make sure to have the appropriate fan placement on your case (and don't touch it for an hour after use!).
-No Crossfire support
-Terrible price considering alternatives at the same price range are so much better (again go with the 1 gig model, the $10 is worth the difference)

Other Thoughts: Is decent for an extra display, quiet, or average gaming or just plain low profile that packs a punch, but do not purchase this expecting to play anything major. I would go the extra $30-50 and get a real video card.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent while it lasted

Pros: Delivered decent performance for the price, has dvi, hdmi and vga all in one and above 512mb at that. When working, was a good card, could run sims 3 crysis 2 and hd movies without lag.

Cons: Well after 10 months I had my first video crash, here we are a month later and just minutes ago I had to swap out for a ati 4350 I had laying around so I could keep using my pc. I'm pretty dispapointed that the card causes the pc to crash if I do anything other then web browse for more than 10 minutes. I tested the this last weekend, while not being able to do as many graphic intense things as I'm used to, it wouldn't crash. This HIS 2GB Card would crash at it's lowest settings no matter what. Not over clocked of course, prefer to have the hardware to have it's own kick from factory. Disappointed and probably won't buy that line of product again.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent card but not sure about reliability

Pros: Fanless, so quiet.
Low power usage.
Runs cool all the time.
Fairly powerful.
Drivers available for linux, albeit some tweaking may be needed to get the best.

Cons: Unreliable quality. Completely dead after just 3 months of light use. Didn't play any games even. Now on RMA. Does not sit tightly on the PCI slot even though it has a latch.

Other Thoughts: AMD control center that comes prepackaged for Ubuntu linux works well. But drivers are another story. You need to download them from the AMD website. Why are the drivers included in the standard distributions like Ubuntu, beyond me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent out of the box

Pros: Easy install! Picture quality improved exponentially from motherboard AMD video chipset: gorgeous! Silent, well, that's supposed to be by design. Ordered Sunday, received Tuesday, standard shipping, Newegg rocks!

Cons: None that I can think of, but I am not a gamer, so don't look at me if you are looking for review on gamer's features.

Other Thoughts: About install: make time, it takes some. Install from CD to make things easier: it appears that drivers will be automatically updated during the installation process.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it.

Pros: easy to install, runs great and no fan! I can play my MMO's at whatever settings I want.

Cons: The hardest part of the install was running the software.... the installation interface would go off the screen because the resolution was so low because the driver isn't installed...

Other Thoughts: as stated I use it for playing MMO's and watching hulu.... Haven't run any dvd's or blu-rays yet but I'm running my computer at full hd resolutions on my 1080p hdtv. Everything looks great... no problems

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC Use

Pros: - Passively Cooled
- Silent (obvious from passively cooled)
- Low Profile Brackets Included
- Stays cool
- Easily handles HD content

Cons: - Not as fast as other HD 6570s due to memory clock of only 1000MHz

Other Thoughts: So far, this seems to be an excellent choice for an HTPC discrete GPU. The card is completely silent (passively cooled) and the card performs at a comfortable temperature, even without any case fans.

At idle, without any case fans and in a low-profile HTPC case, the average temperature is 37C.
When streaming 1080p content and with one silent case fan after 2 hours, temperature average is 44.5C.
When streaming 1080p content without any case fans after 2 hours, it averages at 47.5C.

Passmark PerformanceTest 7.0 rating: 549

Played several high bit rate 1080p movies with XBMC's native media player with zero dropped frames during regular playback.

Can't attest to it's gaming performance since I haven't tried any video games with it, yet.

The lower memory clock is only relevant if you plan to use this card for any gaming as it might decrease your FPS by a couple frames, nothing substantial.

2 out of 5 eggsNo Good for 3 monitors simultaneously

Pros: It worked immediately when installed in an HP Pavillion a6157c.
Ports available were VGA, DVI and HDMI. Passive cooling, quiet and low power usage.

Cons: Did not have a display port for Eyefinity. Ports available were VGA, DVI and HDMI. Only able to utilize two ports at a time. The card does not support Eyefinity. My goal was to have three monitors working simultaneously.

Other Thoughts: Returning the product has been a bit rough. I was given a free WinZip Pro 16 coupon which I didn't ask for. So when I filled out the RMA and returned the card along with the WinZip coupon, I was only credited for the card minus the price of the coupon. This should have been handled as one return and not two. I am still waiting for my refund confirmation 5 days after the initial RMA verification.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC Card

Pros: Silent, Excellent picture quality. Low power consumption-doesn't require additional power connection. No HDCP handshake issues. Flawless high definition audio bitstreaming. This card provides the highest picture quality in the 6 series of Radeon cards you only need to go higher if you're a gamer.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Upgraded a 5450 to this due to hdcp issues in the former. By that I mean if I was watching a blu-ray or Cable tV and turned the TV off, I would have to restart mediacenter and start movie again.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent card.

Pros: Quiet.
It fits into Acer small form factor PCs unlike the HIS Radeon HD 6670 (the two fan model).

Cons: The cards run hot between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius.

Other Thoughts: This is probably the best silent card I have been able to find.
