1 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasted, horrible support from HIS

Pros: Great card while it lasted.

Cons: Fan died, horrible experience with HIS and Lexy Pacific (third party RMA service)
I really, really liked this card, but after about 9 months the fan stopped working.

To maintain operable temperatures I have an outside industrial strength fan pointing at it. Naturally I tried to setup an RMA to get a replacement fan or to get the card service.

After 2 months of patiently dealing with HIS digital over the net, I was told that they would send me a replacement fan. A few weeks go by without response, I ask on the status of my replacement fan. They tell me that I have to then setup an RMA through a seperate local company in CA, Lexy Pacific. It's 3 months now, and after following all the instructions from HIS and Lexy, I'm sitting at a page that tells me my warranty is expired/serial is not valid despite trying to start this RMA process THREE MONTHS AGO.

Great card when it worked, but I will never purchase a product from HIS ever again. I suppose I'll have to purchase an aftermarket HS/Fan now.

Other Thoughts: I will never give HIS money again. $300 lasted 9 months. Don't support this company.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: No slowdown or rendering glitches on highest settings (SimCity 4, Caesar IV, Mass Effect 3, SimCity, Battlefield 3, Minecraft). Proving to be future-resistant, as I bought it a year ago and still outperforms newer cards.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: After having an 8800GTS fail on me within one year I was weary about purchasing a "big boy" graphics card. I have been using this card heavily with a 75/25 split between heavy gaming and 3D CAD and it has held up well.

5 out of 5 eggs Good Budget Card

Pros: Pretty cheap for the quality, comes with an easy-to-use OC'ing tool. I get 40-60 FPS on every game in my Steam library. Quiet, and a fully adjustable fan speed.

Cons: Heavy, wobbles, and the stand wont fit in my ATX case.e

1 out of 5 eggsNice While it Lasted

Pros: Good gaming performance; Excellent Temperatures; Price

Cons: The fan died three months after purchasing the product. Sent the card in for an RMA not through HIS, but through a third party contracted out on HIS' behalf. After spending so much money on a card, you expect it to work for a few years, not for a few months. Also, ran the card only on stock settings.

Other Thoughts: Again, overall a decent card for the price, while the fan still worked. I am lucky I was paying attention, or I likely would have burned out my card with no fan cooling the heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Fast, fast, fast, what can I say, HIS, and AMD, a match made in heaven. This is my fifth HIS card and never had an issue with one.

Cons: These dont seem to fun as cool as their ICEQ cards, seems to run a little warm during games, in the 60-70 C range but that may be normal when running Skyrim with video setting set to the highest they can go, but no issues at all for a sweet card.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: Quiet, Runs newer games high-ultra settings. Furmark shows 69C max temperature at stock. Gaming it runs in the low 50s. Regular browsing and watching videos online runs low 40s to mid 40s.

Cons: None right now

Other Thoughts: Considering the price, seems like a decent card. I did not bother with the rebate.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted Less than 3 months

Pros: Good while it lasted.

Cons: Video card gave out in less than 3 months of purchase date.

Other Thoughts: Purchased in July 2012. Manufacturing date is listed as January 2012. Card gave out on Oct 7 2012 when my brother was playing League of Legends. Can't go through neweggs return process because it's been over 30 days. Currently going through RMA process with HMI through Lexy Pacific. It took forever to find their RMA form!!! Not impressed with HIS/Lexy Pacific's RMA process so far. Doubt I will ever buy a video card from them ever again. You would think a $300 + video card would durable...find a better card.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Cheaper than most 7950's
- Great performance
- Overclock's pretty well

Cons: - Little loud.

When the fan speed get's to about 60% it starts getting noticeable. I play with headphones so it doesn't bother me too much. So if you like playing with speakers and such, you may want to consider a quieter card.

- Big card.

I have a HAF932, so this card fit well... but before purchasing you definitely want to make sure your case is large enough, as this is a really big card.

Other Thoughts: I bought it like a day before ATI lowered the prices on the 7950's to compete with the 660ti. Since it had $10 off and a 6% promo code I still got it for a good price; but if you buy it now its ridiculously cheap.. there is no reason to choose a different card for this price range in my opinion.
