Hail to the King.

The coolest, quietest, fastest, and most advanced graphics card, the HIS Radeon R9 295X2, is engineered for the ultimate performance. It employs two top-selected AMD Radeon R9 290X Cores and a mammoth 8GB of memory. A total of 2816x2 shaders running at 1018MHz provide more than 11.5 teraflops of computing power, which translates into effortless gaming at 4K or high resolution.

Beyond pure performance, this card comes equipped with a closed-loop liquid cooling solution to ensure cool, quiet operation even under demanding loads. The exterior is a powder-coated machined aluminum shroud punched with industrial rivets, which is more professional in looks and more efficient in thermal dissipation. A full-length, solid metal backplate reinforces the card against impact damage, and helps with heat discharge.

Bring home this card today and take your gaming to the next level.

  • newegg The Graphics Champion The AMD Radeon R9 295X2 features two AMD Radeon R9 290X ASICs (formerly codenamed “Hawaii XT”) in their full configuration: 2816 shaders running at up to 1018MHz. In fact, 1018MHz is faster than the qualified clock speed of the AMD Radeon R9 290X. A total of 2816x2 shaders with 8GB memory work side by side making this card the undisputed graphics champion. (In a 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark test in 1080p, the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 outperforms the Titan Black, Nvidia’s highest performing graphics card as of March 12, 2014, by a score of 15,862 to 9,878 in the Performance preset, and 8,764 to 4,725 using the Extreme preset. Test system: Intel i7 4960X CPU, 16GB memory, Nvidia driver 334.89, AMD Catalyst driver 14.10 and Windows 8.1. GRDT-36)
  • newegg Factory-fitted liquid cooling system In an industry first, the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card reference design ships with an advanced closed-loop liquid cooling system developed jointly with Asetek. Enjoy cool temperatures, quiet operation and consistently high performance, right out of the box.
  • newegg All metal construction Built from striking powder coated aluminum, this GPU is beautiful to behold. It’s built to our highest standards, and it sends a message that’s loud and clear: this is serious hardware.
  • newegg Ultra resolution powerhouse For some gamers, having enough isn’t the point. For them, overkill is merely a starting point. That means extreme resolutions, multiple monitors and sliders to the max. Run ultra settings in 4K with impunity. Or get two million pixels more than 4K by combining five HD screens in an AMD Eyefinity technology setup. Either way, the AMD Radeon R9 295X2 barely breaks a sweat.
  • newegg Mantle technology There’s optimization, and then there’s Mantle technology. Games enabled with Mantle speak the language of Graphics Core Next to unlock revolutionary performance and image quality.
  • newegg AMD TrueAudio technology Technology that puts the magic of surround sound into every headset and helps give sound engineers the freedom to innovate in ways they’ve never had before. This is what the future of PC gaming sounds like.

1 out of 5 eggsThe Best? Not so much...

Pros: Quite, Solidly Built, Liquid Cooled.

Cons: Built a new system:

I7 5930K 3.5Ghz
Corsai H105 Liquid Cooler
32GB DDR4 2400 G-Skill Ripjaw RAM
Gigabyte G1 WIFI Gaming MB
This Card
Samsung 240GB SSD
Corsair C70 Case

First: DVI-HDMI provided adapter is NOT HDMI 2.0 compliant so it will only push 1920X1080. Had to go to Amaz and buy both a DVI-HDMI 2.0 Adapter AND an Mini Display port-HDMI 2.0 adapter (Use the minidisplay port). I have an HDMI 2.0 (18.5GBs) cable.

BIGGEST ISSUE: AMD Catalyst Drivers (Went through 14.4, 14.7 even back to 12.13) FAIL to recognize my Samsung UN65HU8550 4k TV. Researched AMD forums posted my bug report and it's EDID information. Maybe I will hear back in 30-60 days...

It only recognizes it as a Samsung 1920X1080@75Hz monitor. Get this: My old Radeon HD7850 (with 14.4 or 14.7 Beta drivers) recognized it with NO problem Max resolution was 3860X2160@30Hz (Card limit).

Yes, all MB drivers are current and BIOS is latest one F8a from Gigabyte.

HIS, since I have zero to little faith in AMD actually getting around to resolving this issue do you have one?

Otherwise, it is return this card and go with Dual NVidia Titan setup.

Shame on you AMD and HIS. For $1500 you expect top of the line AND the appropriate 4K compliant adapters.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are sorry for your situation and suggest you try to check following steps.
1. If possible verify the HIS graphics card on another working system or verify another working card on your motherboard. Need to ensure that the platform is no problem.
2. If you need further assistant, please feel free to contact our customer service department directly.

Best Regards

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Card but not worth it

Pros: The card does what it says and it is fast. Runs cool due to the liquid cooling fans and 4k gaming (oh wait)

Cons: There is nothing that calls for anything remotely close to processing power this card has.

Other Thoughts: If you're anything like me. Look at the card go "Ooh fancy" turn around and buy two $250 cards and perhaps rig your own water cooler to them (if that's your thing.) Been using a single R9 270x and was able to play my games in their upscaled garbage 4k resolution just fine without spending a half a month's pay for it. Great job by AMD, but this card is about as useful as a gold plated Monopoly game.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperfast - Excellent Quality

Pros: Very solid build. Super cool running GPU's due to water cooling of course. Two slot. Radiator fit perfectly in my case. Needed the 295x2 to game using a 4K monitor. Great job AMD,

Cons: Price. This is currently the fastest single card solution. You must pay for the best. I did not receive the 3 free games.

Other Thoughts: Make sure and purchase a high quality 1000W+ PSU to feed this beast.
