5 out of 5 eggsGood card, great price

Pros: Great price with the rebate. Fits in my HP Slimline s3100n without any problem. Didn't have a problem with power consumption (s3100n only has 120 PSU).

Cons: Rebate process can be lengthy, lots of documents to keep track of.

Other Thoughts: Runs Call of Duty 4 at high settings perfectly, Call of Duty 5 at high well.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price

Pros: Card worked as expected. Decent preformance in Counter-Strike: Source on med-high. Usually gets around 50-100fps. Card runs Left 4 Dead on low without too much of an issue, keeps 30-50fps.
DVI and VGA inputs.

Cons: None, it didnt come with pie?

Other Thoughts: This card fit fine in a slim dell optiplex. Idk what you others are talking about, if you didnt know u need to use the small form factor brackets to use in a slim case.
Put this in my girlfriends little sisters computer, all she plays is css and l4d lol.
In a dell optiplex Pentium D dual core~3.2Ghz
2GB Memory
80GB HD
Runs as expected

3 out of 5 eggsNot Truly Low Profile

Pros: With the rebate great price for a good card. If you are using a full height case then the card is a good deal.

Cons: The card was too tall for my small form factor case. I modified the case (cut a slot in the top of the case) so the card would fit. However, the fan and heat sink make the card too wide to enable me to use the PCIe 1x slot. Since I am building this computer as a media center the card won't work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal!

Pros: Bought this as a gift for my dad when I was upgrading my personal comp. Helped him out alot as he has a small case and a horrible on board graphics chip.

Hes able to do alot more gaming now and loves his computer again.

GREAT VALUE. PROMPT REBATE.

Cons: Its not a GTX 2--?

Other Thoughts: Really though, there is no cons if you bought this with full understanding of what it is.

Highly recommended for budget comp makers that need a gpu for a small case.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent performance, not great

Pros: Price per performance is pretty amazing for this card. It's not a barn burner, but it gets the job done pretty nicely. Low profile design was what drew me to this card because of cramped space in my wife's machine. It fit perfectly.

Cons: None really, it's exactly what I expected.

Other Thoughts: You won't run Crysis on this card, but it does run WoW at 50ish FPS at 1440x900 with medium graphic settings.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes not fil all low profile computers!

Pros: Awesome graphics, and pretty quiet. 5 eggs on graphics.

Cons: This card does NOT fit in all low-profile computers! I used this in a Dell Optiplex GX280, and the case is not able to close.

Other Thoughts: One of the other reviewers said not to remove the VGA connection, this is your preference and can be done if you don't need it.

5 out of 5 eggsDell 530s

Pros: Here's the facts for Dell 530s owners (based on my experience):
1) Card will fit 530s (slim case). The PCI slot is the black one, not the white slot.
2) You must remove the bracket that comes already installed on the card and replace it with the low-profile bracket, which came with card (small hex screws).
3) Low profile bracket doesn't match the orientation of case design, but that 's ok. That only means it won't lock into place, but it will fit once you replace the large case-related bracket and snap the lever on the case back into place.
4) Do not remove the VGA connection from card (the part that dangles after your removed the card's high profile bracket). The VGA connection will need to extend from the card to a different/lower slot on back of case (obviously it won't fit along side the other connections with the LP card bracket). It won't lock into place, but it will suffice once you connect the VGA cord.
5) Runs on 250W, not 350W.
6) It's quiet.
7) Graphics look great!

Cons: LP bracket design is not entirely compatible with Dell 530s case design (backwards), but it will work if you install it upside down. It won't "lock" into place, but it will be held securely after reinstalling all case brackets. VGA cord from game card will need to route through other hole in back, but it's not a problem.

Other Thoughts: Tested with RACE '07 game and EA sports so far. I can set it to highest graphics and frame rate and it works great! Not sure how it will work with latest heavy gaming requirements.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Nice upgrade from my onboard graphics. Great price after the mail-in rebate, and a fan is always great for keeping things a bit cooler.

Cons: Although it fits great in my Dell 530s slim case, the pc's 240W power supply just doesn't seem to have what it takes to power this card for even low demand gaming. Also the fan definately makes a little noise. Not too bad though. A little noise just that means air is doing its job.

Other Thoughts: Always beware of mail-in rebate prices if you're a procrastinator or forgetful. For me, they never get sent in...

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I purchased this card for my old HP Pavilion m7557c, and because $60 MIR.

Easy installation, nice working card, I even got better screen resolution from 1280 x 1024 (old card) to 1680x1050 with this card.

Cons: card cooling fan is little too noisy

Other Thoughts: but on another hand... I'm fine - new graphic cad to my old PC for $20

5 out of 5 eggsGood card after rebate

Pros: Definitely FITS in the Dell 530/531S case, you just need to change the bracket to the DVI LP bracket. The card is 80mm wide, the Dell case is 100 mm (HP slimline is 107mm).

The fan is not loud (but it is obviously makes more noise than the almost complete silence of the system before).

A huge improvement over integrated graphics at low-cost, no need to change power supply for a more powerful card.

Cons: The KFA2 8600GT LP is no longer being manufactured, which is twice as powerful as this card and is the most powerful card you can buy with a 300W or less power supply in a slim system.

Chaintech offers one but it is ~80 dollars and heard mixed reviews. I only wish Galaxy offered the 8600GT for 40-50 dollars so that I could have gotten that card instead.

Other Thoughts: Makes most games playable, but don't expect the most eye candy resolutions. Was able to play Call of Duty: World at War smoothly.

At the time of this review, the best graphics card available for a LP system is the KFA2 9600GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162016). This card is at a great price, unfortunately it requires a 400W power supply and even though some people claim to have made it work on a lower supply I didn't want to risk it. To Galaxy: Slim-line computers don't come with a 400W power supply.
