5 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: Reliable, no problems, doesn't seem to get too hot

Cons: None that I've encountered so far.

Other Thoughts: I didn't buy this card for gaming, I bought it for reliability. The card I actually wanted was out of stock so I went with this. So far I've really liked it, had no problems and it does actually do a pretty good job if I do play an occasional game (FEAR, Starcraft 2 Beta are pretty much it) playing them on full graphics

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Excellent for what it is. I needed a decent video card with S-video, and this works GREAT.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Keep that disk handy. The Windows update for this hardware might not work as well as the original. In my case, the Windows Update version removed the multiple monitor capability, thus disabling the S-Video port. So once I reinstalled the driver from the Disk, it worked out just great.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent upgrade for onboard video

Pros: You get what you pay for, and this card isn't going to shatter any benchmarks. I used it in a cheap eMachines that had onboard video with Windows 7.

Along with a few other upgrades it turned a $300 machine into a powerhouse HTPC (total upgrade cost, less than $150). I never would have hit that price point without a great low-midrange card like this.

Cons: Would be nice to have HDMI out instead of S-Video, but as I said, you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple and Easy

Pros: -Small
-Simple
-EVGA drivers are so simple
-No extra power needed like larger video cards

Cons: -Non yet,
-Wish it had component or HDMI output

Other Thoughts: I used this card in a small computer i build to store all my DVDs. I needed a video card that can support 1080p because the on board could not support it.

-I used an adapter from another one of mine EVGA video cards to go from Svideo to component

5 out of 5 eggsA dream card for older pc's

Pros: This card is clearly the best for 2006-ish gaming pc's. With turbocache on, this card can pull it all. I tried it on a amount of needy graphic games:

Farcry 2 - All high (textures set to ultra) Eh, its playable...but not the best performance. I recommend putting the game on medium.

Team fortress 2 - <3. Thats all i have to say. Max settings, Can set to 16x and you will still get 30+ fps (well, with my specs)

Garrys mod - Just like tf2...but map dependent. I dont really recommend setting it to full AA, but you can run just as great with it on.

But in other means, I dont know about the guy below me...but it is meant for gaming Pretty much hi-med end gaming.

Cons: It took a bit with to install with the 78mb nvidia driver update and the image is just a tad bit blurry, but thats nothing.

Other Thoughts: It says it needs a 300/400 watt psu...but nah. Im using a 275w and it works just as great. BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU UPGRADING IT.

I did not buy the card from here as I found it on another site first, but my next purchase will be from newegg.

I hope you all have wonders with this card.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, VGA output is junk

Pros: It works. This is not a blazingly fast card but that isn't what you would buy it for. You would buy this card to replace ghastly integrated video in a low-profile PC. A low profile PCI slot cover bracket comes in the box.

Cons: While the DVI output works great, the quality of the DAC used for VGA output is terrible. The image is fuzzy, even with a high quality LCD monitor and well-shielded VGA cable. The VGA output is usable for a second monitor, but just barely.

Other Thoughts: If you are only going to use the DVI output, this card is just fine. I am using this card in a low-profile Dell machine with two monitors connected via DVI and VGA outputs.

4 out of 5 eggsGot A Boost!

Pros: Cheap! And in VISTA ULTIMATE went from 2.0 Graphics To 3.6 (AERO) And 2.7 To 4.7 Gaming! Play's My Games Good! Im An Emulator Gamer!

Cons: I think that the mem share with my motherboard is making my OS (Windows) Instable! Have requirements+ for the card. But making windows explorer crash's sometimes?

Other Thoughts: It Said Made For Vista But I Think It Is For XP!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Quality for Low Price

Pros: Was very easy to install. Drivers for both XP & Vista were on the disc (although updated drivers can be downloaded from nvidia.com). Very cheap & an upgrade from my 6600 GT. Got a bit of an FPS bump after installation.

Cons: Fan is a little overpowered & causes some vibration. I was able to battle this however by not tightening the outside cover to my case all the way.

Increased my load times slightly from my 6600 GT. Considering that my FPS has increased however, it's not that big of a deal.

Other Thoughts: Even though the fan is a little overpowered, the small fan & heat sink don't seem to cut it while playing graphic intensive games; this causes FPS rates to drop dramatically. I found that directing a fan on the card helps to increase FPS rates with this card. I would suggest getting a fan to go with it to help keep it cool for increased performance.
