Graphics processing has become an essential ingredient to the modern PC. Nowadays, we simply demand more from our PC. If you want to enhance photos, edit videos, watch movies, play games, or if you simply desire a Premium Windows 7 experience, the NVIDIA GeForce 210 graphics card brings impressive graphics processing power to your PC at an incredible value.

Spectacular Video

Get all the video processing power that your digital lifestyle requires. Enhance photos, clean up home videos and post them to Facebook up to 50% faster with the GeForce 210. Convert your video and put it on your iPod in minutes instead of hours or make your DVDs look like HD. Does your PC have a CPU powerful enough to playback high definition Blu-Ray Movies? It doesn’t matter, the GeForce 210 can playback any Blu Ray Movie with any modern CPU.

Gorgeous Graphics

Modern games and 3D applications demand more graphics performance than ever before and Intel integrated graphics simply aren’t good enough. With 16 processing cores, the GeForce 210 delivers over 10x the performance of Intel integrated solutions (Compared to Intel G45)! If you want to play popular mainstream games like World of Warcraft, Spore or Sims3, the GeForce 210 is an essential addition to your PC.

Premium Windows 7 Experience

Graphics processing units (GPUs) are an essential element of today’s PCs, enabling more visual and more interactive experiences. As a leader in visual computing and the inventor of the GeForce GPU, NVIDIA worked closely with Microsoft on the development of Windows 7 to ensure that its GPUs take full advantage of the great new features and functionality. If you use your PC to enhance photos, watch or edit videos, play games, or if you simply desire a fast and efficient graphical interface, NVIDIA GPUs will surely delight your senses and offer a premium Windows 7 experience.

5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: i have had this card for over a year now and the card works fine. i have it oc to 650mhz core and 450 ram. the card is not a gaming card but i managed to max out halo at 1600x1200 and halo 2 is play able at 720p also cod4 and mw at decent frame rates. works better than i expected for a htpc card.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than most onboard

Pros: Cheap after rebate; better performance than most onboard (although not necessarily true for Sandy Bridge / ATI 4200+ graphics); 3-year warranty.

Cons: Any HDMI audio driver other than the one included on the bundled CD causes a bluescreen upon reboot (current graphics driver works fine). No idea why or what Galaxy did to this card that makes it incompatible, but be warned. I've tried several different cards (including the full-height one from Galaxy), and this appears to be unique to Galaxy-branded cards.

Other Thoughts: Fan is a little loud, but that's not the end of the world. No low profile bracket included (but you know that from the pictures).

3 out of 5 eggsNo sound on HDMI

Pros: Inexpensive. Doesn't take up another slot. Video quality is good.

Cons: Performance is marginal. Some artifacts while streaming online video. No sound out of HDMI port - the nVidia installer refuses to install the HDMI audio drivers. Poor customer support so far.

2 out of 5 eggsFan died after 5 months

Pros: *Inexpensive
*VDPAU gives smooth 1080p playback on my aging media center.

Cons: *Fan died after 5 months of 24x7 media center use. Now when I power the system up the fan makes horrible noises and slows to a stop, the card overheats, and locks the system up.
*Fan had slightly annoying noise levels from day 1.

Other Thoughts: Audio over HDMI took some work and for some reason I would always have some skipping with music but not video playback with XBMC on Linux.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price/performance

Pros: It's a great buy. Way better than my old galaxy geforce 9500gt. Get this for tight budget builders.

Cons: Fan way too loud even at 30% speed!

5 out of 5 eggsgood for every day work apps

Pros: I was kinda surprised when I took it out of the box as to how dinky this thing is. But for 20 bucks after rebate one can't complain too much.

It did work right out of the box and installed without a hitch.

Cons: fan is small and looks almost useless...but as long as it does it's job I'll be happy.

Other Thoughts: I'll be a lot happier when I receive the rebate card.

4 out of 5 eggsFor the price, it's great.

Pros: After rebate, I paid about $15 for this thing. Build quality seems decent.

I'm able to do a bit more than I expected - Civ V and Empire: Total War work fine where they didn't before, but I haven't tried any heavier-duty gaming than that.

Cons: Don't kid yourself, this is not a powerful card at all. You definitely get what you pay for, both good and bad.

I found this card a bit more awkward to get in the mobo than some others. Not a major problem.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace a GeForce 7200 128mb which died of capacitor plague, so my standard for performance isn't very high.

On Ubuntu nothing was required to get the new card up and running. Windows 7 required a reboot or two before it wanted to use the proper drivers, but no manual intervention required.

If you're looking for a card to replace an older-generation GPU that's on its way out, or want to make one step up from onboard, this is not a bad choice for those on a tight budget.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's OK...

Pros: It was really, really cheap when I got it. :-) I don't play any games on my PC - that's what I have my PS3 for! I only got the card so that I could avoid integrated graphics on my desktop. I had been using an old, hand-me-down ATI 2600XT (that was NICE card for its day) that was starting to fail; this was its replacement, again just to take the load off my system.

My card isn't loud at all; in all honesty, I can't even hear it over the normal noise from my computer. Keep in my mind I do NOT have an ultra-quiet system - but its inaudible over my CPU/case fan and hard drives (1TB WD10EALS and 500GB ST3500413as).

Cons: Even though this card is four years newer, it scores tremendously lower on all benchmarks when compared to my old ATI. Wouldn't mind that a bit (as I don't use it for gaming), except that it drags my entire Windows Experience Index down to a 3.4. Yeah, I know that number doesn't mean anything; but as a tinkering techie, I like to see HIGH numbers. :-D

Other Thoughts: For the price I paid, this Galaxy G210 fits the bit perfectly! Now if only I could hack my WEI to get rid of that darned 3.4....

4 out of 5 eggsS'ok

Pros: It gets the job done its definately a good deal for your money and is better than anything i had at the time not having to plug it in with extra power is nice

Cons: dinky little heatsink i havent put a sustained load on it yet but it doesnt look like it would keep the card cool -1 egg

Other Thoughts: great for a video editor or even a budget gaming rig

5 out of 5 eggsRebate.

Pros: Just letting everyone know that if you plan on getting the rebate on this card, it will take 8-10 weeks to get it.

Cons: N/A
