4 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Great card for the money.

Cons: Fan is starting to get a little loud after a month.

Other Thoughts: If i can run WoW on Ultra at 40FPS i can deal with a little noise from the fan

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Run with This Card.

Pros: I purchased this card from Newegg back in 2009 for like 60bucks on sale. Was a great step up from my 7300LE. I played L4D, L4D2 on max settings and about 55-60FPS. This card also handled Bad Company 2 on Medium settings well with about 35-56fps, all while inside my dual core system. Recently, 1-22-2011, the card finally bit the dust. I would say $60 for a steady that lasted nearly 3 years playing heavy games is worth it.

Cons: It died after 3 years.. If you would consider that a con. I would recommend this card to people who are looking for a good boost at a cheap price. For possibly image editing, video editing, or games that are a couple years old, like L4D, L4D2, BC2, The Sims 3, or even Grand Theft Auto 4. Newegg has this product deactivated/out of stock. I would definitely try to locate one of these somewhere on the internet.

I also love Galaxy's software, Easy to use and very very helpful.

Other Thoughts: Loved this card. Didnt require massive amounts of power, and did not make much noise. It's a shame it finally crapped out, I will surely miss it. GTX 550Ti, I hope you can make me as happy as this one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Bought this card back in February of 2010. It was definitely a huge step up from my old integrated graphics card. Runs most games very well, but with some of the newer ones you'll have to choose lower settings. Easily overclockable, currently running the core clock around 675 MHz with no problems. Very quiet and doesn't get too hot.

Cons: You won't get the same performance as the higher-end cards, but for the price it's second to none.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as advertised

Pros: Small form factor
No power cord needed
next to silent fan
windows experience 6.3 in 3d gaming

Cons: NOT AS ADVERTISED
no d-sub port
card has 2 dvi ports
windows experience of 4.4 for desktop graphics?

Other Thoughts: I ordered this card specifically because I needed a card with d-sub. For christmas this year i planned on fixing up my inlaws computer, so i didn't open the box to make sure the card was as advertised until the gift was given. I was forced to make a run to the local shop to buy an extra vga to dvi converter to finish their gift... theres $15 and 45 minutes of my life i'll never get back that I should not have had to deal with!

If I could do it over again I would put that $15 into a card with better desktop performance. The hassle of miscommunication between galaxy and newegg was not worth it!

4 out of 5 eggsNvidia

Pros: Great card, Ive owned this for about 2 and a half years now. Great card for duel monitor systems, and runs about any game. ( you wont be able to run skyrim or BF3 on it) but its pretty dang well worth your buck.

Cons: Older, cant run high end games without a better processor,

Other Thoughts: If your looking to build a computer that can handle average gaming, this is your card.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: I'm using this card in a budget media PC, and it performs perfectly, absolutely all the graphics power I need for my application. It can handle movies and whatever else (except high-end games of course) in HD without breaking a sweat. Card specs are good for the price and especially for the sale price I nabbed it at. 128-bit memory is a big deal if you're comparing this card to budget cards with 64-bit memory memory.

Cons: None, a balanced card.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Steady Card

Pros: This card is very quiet and extremely reliable. I've had it for years, putting it through its paces the whole time, and I've never had an issue with it. Great card for the price, always has been.

Cons: Not the most powerful card. If you want to run the latest games on full settings then obviously you should pass this card up for a more modern one. But if you want a really solid card at a great price then this one will not let you down.

Other Thoughts: The lack of a true HDMI out wasn't an issue for me for the first 2 years of ownership but has recently become a little bit of a hassle. I won't put it in the cons though because it's not an issue for everyone. It's something to consider though.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible rebate service

Pros: This is about the rebate service used for this device, not the product itself.

Cons: After submitting my rebate form with all the appropriate information, I never heard anything. I looked up my reference code, found out it was denied, and tried to contact the company about it. They ignored all emails.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: Well worth the money. This card has been running in my old hp a1320n pentium 4 dual core for over a year no problems. The computer is always on and I probably don't dust as often as I should, probably what fried my old PNY card. Helped my old computer run windows 7 MUCH better. Not bad on game graphics for the price, but most of my games would not run 1600x900 or better.

Cons: Could be better for games, but look at the price.
