5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Already overclocked, and runs like a champ. Fan noise/heat is ok and so far it has performed flawlessly. Crysis, COD4, Oblivion, etc. VERY impressive.

Cons: Price? Huge? ...not really cons.

Other Thoughts: I went from an X850XT PE (on water and overclocked) to this and needless to say, I have pretty much been in awe checking out Crysis and COD4, Witcher, etc. I've only made some preliminary overclocking bumps at this point so I'm not sure about its potential yet. However, it spanks as is.

5 out of 5 eggsI knew what I was getting into...

Pros: I researched my system for 4 months. This is my 12th + build. These won over vs. eVGA only due to availability. They were a great price and claim some crazy specs.

Cons: I am running Vista 64bit and knew I would have some issues. I have been getting BSOD related to video and have tried everything. I think it comes down to the cards being clocked too high stock. Not a big deal because I did not pay extra for the OC. Since I have trimmed back to 600mhz things have run fine. I am a little disappointed if this is the only me a sense of false advertisement. But still, running at 600mhz is fine with me...especially in SLI!

Other Thoughts: Running a new 64 bit OS and buying the latest and greatest hardware is going to take some patients. You will load dozens of drivers and pull sound cards and have some frustrating days. You just need to expect that going in. Research! Oh, and get a good power supply ( and make sure your case can hold them (coolmaster 830).

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's an 8800 GTX.

Cons: Unstable. Insufficient cooling. Games crash to desktop or lock up my entire machine -- no problems with my previous X1950 XT. Foxconn - I was displeased with their tech support when it began crashing games randomly. Newegg was also of zero help. Foxconn's support had basically zero suggestions, and inferred that my motherboard must not be compatible with NVidia GPUs...what a crock.

Other Thoughts: I actually wrote an earlier review praising the product about a week after I got it. Since that time I've been plagued with lockups and crashes. I've been doing my best to troubleshoot on my own as I've had no help from Newegg or Foxconn. I'm probably going to have to underclock it as my final step since I've tried about 5-6 driver releases, adding tons and tons of cooling to keep the card in the 60's load temperature and ensuring my games are fully patched.

I hate to have to report bad info on a product, but if I could make a recommendation to those of you out there who are still on the fence, get an EVGA or BFG model. I will probably not buy from Foxconn again in the future. And I will also begin waiting a solid 4 weeks before writing reviews in the future, so I apologize for the "double-post"

4 out of 5 eggsProduct review

Pros: Product works as advertised. Very fast and no problems installing 2 of these cards in SLI format. Comes with book and drivers disk plus cables and a few extras needed for custom configuration. Overall the product is fast and as advertised.

Cons: Foxconn uses a 3rd party for their rebates (this card had a $30 dollar rebate)x 2 for two cards the 3rd party is a ghost company impossible to satisfy the requirements has no email no telephone number the forms they make you fill out dont match the rebate card (8800GTX) so you will never get your rebate as if anything is filled out wrong rejection. Foxconn says talk to the 3rd party via email they dont want to deal with it even though its their card. They have one guy in technical support hes good but if many call forget getting help.

Other Thoughts: If you want the card with a rebate forget it the money is ghosted. Foxconn is a very small company the product works and if your technical you can make it work great. Lastly I tried to overclock it more than stock and got nowhere its pretty much maxed out without serious mods to the case and watercooling.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card

Pros: Excellent card, runs all games at very high settings. I get idle temps around 55c and after playing Crysis for a while it runs around 75c. All stock GPU cooling with fan control on auto. Crysis runs smooth @ very high settings, AA 16xQ, 1280 x 960 but bump the resolution up to 1680 x 1050 with the same high settings and it runs pretty laggy.

I have been able to OC this thing more and it will run stable even at 650mhz but it does run quite a bit hotter so I leave it at 630mhz the way it comes, at least until I go water cooled :P

Cons: Once in a great while, and have not been able to figure out the cause as it is fairly random. I will just loose all video, screen goes black and I have to reboot. Could be a Vista 64bit issue but it happens so rarely I really don't care much.

Other Thoughts: System: CM Stacker 830 with 9 120mm fans loaded, E6850 @ 3ghz, Ultra 120-Extreme CPU Cooler, 4 gig Crucial Ballistix, GA-P35-DS4 (rev. 2.0)Mobo, 150gig WD Raptor, 500gig Seagate, Killer NIC, 750w PC Power&Cooling, Vista 64bit.

2 out of 5 eggsMixed Thoughts

Pros: This card is fast!! Plays Crysis on high smoothly.

Cons: Getting this card working has been a daunting task. I had numerous heat issues. Card would run over 85 C then crash my system. Running Vista 64 bit. After 2 weeks I figured out the fan controller on this card is not functioning properly. Had to download Riva Tuner to get the fans to function properly.

Other Thoughts: Great card. Terrible drivers. Terrible temperature control app. Get a 3rd party fan control and then bask in the speed. Kind of irritated because I bought a whole new case and fans thinking the card was too hot, only to find out it was the drivers and software control.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: Amazing stability and performance. Not one problem and runs most games Maxed in driver detail and game detail with 60 to 200 FPS flawlessly. Scored 11,202 stock out of the box in 3Dmark06 with a 6400 + AMD AM2.

Cons: This card is not for you if you don't have some hard core case cooling.

Other Thoughts: Can't be beet for price/performance.

Scores dead even with EVGA 8800 GTX KO in benchmarks and in game performance.
