5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent performance for the price. I'm not a serious gamer, but I can run WoW at 1680x1050 w/ maxed settings, pushing 50+fps in Shatt & 25man raids. Very pleased

Cons: fan can get moderately loud under load

5 out of 5 eggsPleasant Suprise

Pros: So far I've been pleasantly surprised by this video card. I expected it to be a huge improvement over my 7300 which it has been. What I didn't expect was how well packaged it was despite ups clearly dancing the conga on the box, the card and retail box for the card was flawless. This card also has lower power requirements then I had hoped, I expected to have to order a new power supply for it but to my surprise it ran on my Antec Basicq 500watt, the 18 amp rail is enough to power it at full load and run cleanly.

Cons: None at current, Will update if something happens.

Other Thoughts: Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Hard Drive: 320 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Excellent card for the money =]
Runs my games very smoothly, recommended for mid-gamers =]
*CSS HL2 MapleStory Halo Doom 3*

Cons: Only one i can think of is that i did not order this sooner.

Other Thoughts: default cooling fan cycles the hot air back into the case, so have good cooling for your case!

3 out of 5 eggsSo So

Pros: It's better than my onboard Quadro NVS 210 graphics.

Cons: Creates a buzzing sound (not from fan) when doing any kind of 3d rendering...searched around and found that this is not uncommon with the 8600 and 8800 cards...very annoying!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Windows Vista is much faster and the Directx 10 games run great. My previous card was an onboard Radeon X1250 which was lame to be using.

Cons: No Directx 10 for Windows XP but my games do run pretty fast on it.

Other Thoughts: It has been awhile since I have been able to do some hard gaming on my PC and I am extremely happy. I want to thank newegg for an awesome deal on the video card and fast transaction as well I appreciate it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck

Pros: The great thing about this card is the price for the performance. It had gddr3 memory (128 bit) and its a 8600 gts. Plus the foxconn overclocking utility is ppretty cool. This card ran all my games like ut3 and FEAR and gears of war on high if not max settings.

Cons: Only one i can think of is that i did not order this sooner.

Other Thoughts: I was building a really tight budget pc and i thought i would have to settle for like a 6800 but when i found this i was wrong and it runs great cool and quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great Deal! Runs Counter Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source and Need For Speed: Most Wanted all on maxed out settings at 1400x900. You can't go wrong with this card, only $60 after shipping and rebate.

Includes TV out connectors and VGA converters. Has a very easy to use overclocking utility. Includes some free software I haven't checked out yet.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Great value considering the specs on this thing. Who knows the long run quality but it seems to be a solid little card.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet!

Pros: Installed without a single issue. Stay's cool (40c idle). Fan runs quiet once nvidia drivers are installed. Cheap baby!

Cons: Foxconn driver disk has a neat utility for overclocking but it's kind of awkward to use.

Other Thoughts: I haven't done any gaming yet but this seems to be a solid graphics card and an awesome deal even before you figure in the rebate. It's not an EVGA or an XFX but it's got an awesome performance to cost ratio.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat midrange card

Pros: low profile, gets 30-60 fps in 3dmark 06 graphics benchmarks. not a loud fan.

Cons: heatsink/fan exhaust stays in the case, but can be remedied by getting an arctic cooling hsf for 20 bucks.
