5 out of 5 eggsNice upgrade

Pros: Price, fanless, excellent output quality

Cons: Card slightly too wide for the slot

Other Thoughts: Wish it has HDMI or components output

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget card

Pros: Put this in a website design rig for a client. No complaints, it worked out of the box. Great budget card. It's nice having a DVI and a VGA connector in case you have a monitor that doesn't have a DVI.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This card is great I got this for a buddy who just plays world of warcraft. He was running a 7300gs so for him this is a huge difference now he can actually walk around in Dal without being engulfed in lag! I recommend this for anyone who needs a good simple video card. Or one who would play somewhat older games such as wow. A great choice for a budget card, if you currently use a built on video and support the pci-express its a great buy so if vista is a little sluggish on arrow...Well bam! there it is ^^ running like a champ.

Cons: Not one con I got it for a friend and for what he does it's perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsgood but not the best

Pros: lots of memory, plays all games but not on highest settings.

Cons: no hdmi out

Other Thoughts: i bought this to be a mild gaming graphics card for a dirt cheap price. this card is great if all you want to do is play semi demanding games like VALVe games (counter strike source, l4d blah blah) but it can play other games like far cry 2 and prototype at middle settings with no lag so thats good.

if you dont play much but want a good card for when you do id say get this. if you are a hardcore gamer get a 9800 or higher

4 out of 5 eggsBeware of TV-Out

Pros: A fine quiet card for an HTPC for not much money.

Cons: See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Stock S-Video cables have a key which won't fit the female connector on this card, which is bizarre. The included cable works fine but it might be too short for some folks. Getting a DVI to HDMI cable/adapter would be the way to go, but I've not tried it yet. Otherwise a fine card for an HTPC.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine in Ubuntu

Pros: Inexpensive. Supported by Ubuntu.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Was purchased for a computer running Ubuntu 9.04 to replace the on-board graphics. After enabling the nVidia restricted driver, it worked like a charm! Desktop effects and Google Earth work just perfect.

3 out of 5 eggseh so-so

Pros: Great card for the price. Silent! did run rather hot, but i was trying to push it too hard! I like the three options for outputs, D-sub, DVI, and S-Video. all perform well. only scored a 5.0 on windows test. everything else on my build scored a 5.9 so i'll be looking to upgrade soon.

Cons: Had to RMA within 3 months. powered up and blank screen not even a blue screen just nothing on any output. but Newegg stands by everything so i'll be waiting for the replacement and look for a more powerful card for the future.

Other Thoughts: while i like the silence, the heat build-up is kind of disturbing, would rather be able to screw a fan onto it. but like everything in life... spend a little more now and save the aspirin for the caffeine withdrawl!

5 out of 5 eggsNice video card

Pros: Improved a Dell Inspiron Windows Index from 3.4 to 5.0. Now computer boots and shutdowns a lot faster.
