4 out of 5 eggsGood Basic Card

Pros: Cheap, decent power consumption, and can play most games decently on low settings/resolutions. This however, powers my server display only on 2008 R2.

Cons: Heatsink is loose. -1 egg. Had to reseat it with AS-5(really Newegg, I had to put a dash in there?) and some pins I had laying around.

Other Thoughts: Good for what I needed. A video card to display my server desktop when needed, and somethign in the slot so that the board would boot.

5 out of 5 eggsinexpensive and painless to install/use with Win 7

Pros: No problems installing/using with Windows 7. Running dual monitors, the thing barely gets warm -- no games or fancy stuff, just average use. I was under a tight budget and needed a replacement GPU for a family member's computer, and this fit the bill perfectly.

Cons: The thermal compound is weaksauce, and the pins don't hold the heatsink firmly enough, so it can wobble/rock if bumped or if pressure is applied. Not very good cooling.

Other Thoughts: Because I was worried about overheating I replaced the compound with a tiny piece of 6.0 W/mK Fujipoly thermal padding, which (because it's soft and putty-like) turned out to be much better at keeping the GPU in thermal contact with the heatsink.

Cons: Runs HOTT, took heatsink off and reinstalled with some artic silver, now runs 10-15c cooler but sill idles at 40c.

Other Thoughts: Good low cost card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the price

Pros: Plug-n-Play. Slim design allows for installation in slim computers and it comes with the short faceplate included. It also comes with a software cd if you need it. I installed this card in a business computer for dual monitor support so I did not require the cd but it is nice to have.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this video card for hardcore gaming. It is nice for basic computer tasks but I do not think it could handle the heavy requirements of today's video games. Great price for an additional video card if all you need is dual monitor support though.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent value, questionable mechanical quality.

Pros: I bought it as a deal of the day, extremely cheap so at that time it was impossible to beat the price/performance ratio of this card. There's no fan so it's quiet. It's decent enough to play Team Fortress 2 with minimal graphics at 1024x768.

Cons: The heat sink is attached using two plastic pins with metal springs at opposite corners of the square. This is not a robust arrangement. Even a tiny force applied with one's pinky finger can cause the heat sink to rotate on top of the chip like a swivel up to a cm, or some 5 degrees.

It runs pretty hot. 68C without load and 74-77C while playing TF2. The heat conductive paste is only applied in a tiny area as shipped. It'd be a good idea to clean it and apply your own.
