2 out of 5 eggsWill never buy a Sparkle again

Pros: Worked OK when it did.

Cons: You cannot expect anything good from this card or the company. Low scale graphics on any games. If you try to bump it higher, the computer will lock up. After less than 6 Mo. of having this card, it died. Go to the support pages of the Sparkle website and you have to register the product within the first 30 days of purchase. Attn SPARKLE, companies do not do this or at least they let you register if you have an invoice from the date of purchase! You made the product now honor your warranty period.

Other Thoughts: Stay away from thsi company until they change their warranty requirement. They bank on you not filling out the warranty within the 30 days, then they are out nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Alot of card for the price as i didn't really need it but why not.. i had some old parts laying around and threw something together, runs windows XP great and played COD MW2 which looked killer even with my old core 2 e6600

Cons: I wish Nvidia had fan contorl and such like AMD does.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a steal

Pros: For this price it can't be beat. Got it for $74.99.
Descent size fits in Silverstone Fortress MINI. Extremely quiet. Plays BF3 on auto settings just fine. Graphics look great and I get an average of 45 FPS on large 64 Player Maps. Really good quality. Built tough. For this price its the best gpu. Easily outperforms low end cards and its up there with mediocre cards. Low power consumption. Requires one 6 pin. Fan is quiet. Max temp under heavy load is 72c. Battlefield 3 uses max 900MB at 1080p auto settings.

Cons: No 6 pin molex connector. I had a hunch but yes it does not come with a molex adapter for the 6 pin power. If your PSU does not have a 6 pin then you need to buy one ($2.99). You get everything in pics.

Other Thoughts: Its very solid just like any other vapor chamber design. For this price its amazing. Will play modern and future games at medium settings. Do not expect it to play Crysis 3/BF3/BF4 with MAX settings and MAX AA. This is not a high end card but if you are looking for a good budget card its great. It performs well and you will not be unsatisfied. 1GB is descent. Plays BF3 at 1080p Auto settings which is nice graphics at 45 average frames large 64 player multi-player maps. Very smooth. Will play less demanding games easily high settings.

Make sure to have a 6 pin connector and also a quad core.

My Specs:

i5-3350p stock
560 SE
8GB 1600 Corsair
Windows 7 64 bit

Amazing price for great performance. Don;y buy a $300+ GPU to play games. Its a hassle and costs a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: This card is pretty stinking cheap for what it is. The performance sits pretty soildly between a 550ti (about 35 bucks more expensive for the cheapest I see at the time I'm writing this) and a standard 560 (75$ more expensive right now both based on newegg prices)

Casual single screen users looking for a cheap upgrade over their stock system will be pleased with this card.

Cons: Last-gen technology. If you do have a little more to spend you can probably get a better price/performance ratio.

This is, as another user mentioned, a 555 OEM, not a 560se as it is advertised. Had some confusion out of the box as sparkles box says it requires 2 6 pins, but there is only 1 on the card. Virtually no info is available to explain the discrepancies.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great card considering how cheap it is.

2 out of 5 eggsmediocre all around

Pros: relatively cheap low- mid range card

Cons: for 50$ more i can get a 650 ti boost that will pretty much play any game on the market on high- ultra specs. also it came with nothing but the card and the driver install cd and they used a box from an older model and just put se stickers over it.

Other Thoughts: There are better cards out there, i reccomend the 650 ti boost. as of writing this its 120$ (american)this would be a much better card if it was priced around 80~

4 out of 5 eggsTHIS IS REALLY A GTX 555 OEM

Pros: This is an oem gtx 555 which comes in an alienware x51.
I bought one used and it was a good upgrade from a gtx 550ti. This card is based on GF114, part of the same family as gtx 560ti, gtx 560, and this one. The card ran stone cold and gave very good playable frame rates.
A plus for this card is the size, plus sli capable.
External exhaust great for desktop p/c where cooling isnt the greatest. good feature.

Cons: Only drawback is the sound of the fan. It was annoying.
It wasnt a fan sound but more like a growl.

Other Thoughts: Its a good card for the money, i almost bought one at $89.00, but not at the current price. i sold the one i had. If this card is the same card, the fan will be annoying, didnt want to take the chance so i left it alone. But again performance wise, its really good, and only 1- 6 pin power connector. If you dont mind the fan, it will be good. Funny, but this card does not come up on any of my searches.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Impression

Pros: Price, Price, Price. You can't beat this at the price period got mine for $89.99. Plays my games on max setting with now problems out of the box. Great for single monitor gaming on a budget. Put my windows 7 index to 7.5.

Cons: Fan makes a little more noise than the stock card. Time will tell how it holds up. Will update if it dies on me.

Other Thoughts: Since I did put this in my stock HP with a i7 2600, I can't say how it would do in a full on gaming rig, but if you are looking for a cheap upgrade for a stock system this is it. Plus a new PS if yours is sub 450w. I through in a 500w just to be on the safe side.
