Run your AGP system into the new world of graphics and gaming with Gecube’s Radeon X1950XT-based video card. The innovative heat-pipe and dual fan design keeps the card cool even under the hottest situations. Memory isn’t an issue, the card is loaded with 256MB of GDDR3 for maximum performance. If that isn't enough, CrossFire compatibility lets you load in a sister card for even greater performance!
Two dual-link DVI-ports let you hook up the largest and highest resolution monitors on the market. Resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 can be run with no problem. You can also use the S-Video port to send signals to your TV. With the included adapters the port supports composite and component connection in addition to S-Video. HDCP compliance means watching your Blu-ray and HD-DVDs at full resolution.
This is a talented and versatile graphics card for anyone looking to bring an AGP system up to a new level!

The Best AGP Card Available ........today
- Pros: Great card runs warm but within specs and works fine. Gaming at 1680x1050 with setting maxxed for most game titles. My card also overclocks niceley to 675 Mhz Core / 1600 Mhz. effecitve for the memory. Performance is slightly better than the X1950 Pro on my rig and scores
about 500 3DMarks higher than my old HIS ICEQ3. Yes, a small performance gain over the Pro, but IT WORKS and is also built well, unlike the 2 Rev.1 HIS cards I owned previously.(On that note, HIS reworked the ICEQ3 Turbo and there is now a Rev.2 which appears to work much better). So far, I'm very happy with the card and very glad I bought it. Benchmarks aside, the card just "feels" faster and in gaming, movement seems much more fluid and realistic.
- Cons: Only one I can think of would be the size of this monster. It takes up 1 AGP slot and 2 PCI slots. Wasn't an issue for me however, as I only have 1 PCI card anyway.
- Other Thoughts: FYI - the Gecube's default memory clock is 700 Mhz./1400 Mhz. effective. I Couldn't find this info anywhwere before I purchased the card. Needed to use ATI Tray Tool for overclocking as ATI's Catalyst Control Center did not allow the memory to be overclocked.
Also, I would not recommend upgrading from a X1950 Pro to this card fro a small performance gain. However, If you have not bought a Pro yet, don't. Buy this card!
Fastest AGP card period!
- Pros: I've replaced my Geforce 6800GT to this card. Difference is noticeable mostly on the latest games featuring either Bloom or HDR effects. I can now run Oblivion + HDR + settings maxed(excluding grass shadow)@1024x768 and get around 30fps on average outdoors. Tomb Raider Legend also runs well using Next Gen option on getting around 25-30fps@1024x768. Didn't notice much of a difference compare to 6800GT on games pre Half-Life 2 era though. Still a great card if you have a decent AGP setup and would like to extend your gaming rig for another year or two. The card runs quite...in fact it runs quieter@full speed then compare to my 6800GT running at 50% speed. Also, does not run as hot(gets around 70C) as my 6800GT which sometimes goes high as 87C.
- Cons: There are many but they are just something for me to nitpick about. ATI Catalyst driver isn't well developed as NVIDIA's and it is taking me twice as long to boot up to WinXP as before. I also had to download a new driver to install and uninstalling a driver took more then 5mins. If you take a look at the picture of this card, you will notice that the card takes up at least two slots. It actually takes up 2 and 1/2 slots so make sure you have enough room to fit this card in. The card was also slightly larger then my 6800GT which wasn't a problem on my full ATX case but could be for some people. Although Gecube does not mention on their website, manual says power supply requirement to be 30A on 12V rail. Purchased 600Watt dual-rail 18A + 20A and is running perfectly.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg is awesome as always and received the package exactly in 3 days. Make sure to have decent power supply and you should be good to go.

Fried my computer
- Pros: Looks kinda nice
- Cons: When i installed the card, as per the instructions, it shorted out my powersupply, and in the process fried my harddrive and motherboard.
- Other Thoughts: An email to the company said that it was probably the powersupply that caused the problem. No kidding. Rig ran just fine before i tried to install the card, but now seriously fried afterward.
I wouldnt use this card again even if it was free.
Follow up
- Pros: None. Again.
- Cons: Everything. This is the 3rd try at this card. I even upgraded my PSU to a 650W Antec True Power Trio to make sure I wasnt underpowering the card. Again, artifacting within 5-10 minutes of installing the drivers. Heatsink looks to be correctly seated this time. Still didn't matter.
- Other Thoughts: This card is not worth the time or money. Seriously, go with a Pro version from another company like HIS and hope it overclocks some.
good but bad if??
- Pros: very fast card if ur still useing agp, good o/cer,
- Cons: huge heatsing lose atleast 2 pci slots, high power consumption, takes 3 power connectors, fans dont spool early enuff easy fix
- Other Thoughts: great card juss make sure u check the heatsink upon arival very easy fix if ur enclined in this mechanical area had to reset heatsink and tighten screws that hold the pipes cooler works good when poperly installed juss added my own fan which keeps my temps below 50c oced stock cooler ,,wouldnt be so bad if there werent any heatsink issues everyone is haveing
