4 out of 5 eggsCard O.K., Rebate bad!

Pros: O.K. stock video card for surfing and low res games but rebate terms short customers.

Cons: Without rebate it is way over priced and the rebate is rigged against you. Instead of the stock 30 Days to mail rebate back I discovered (too late at 15 days) it is only 14 *not even 15 but 14) days to have rebate postmarked from time of order.

Other Thoughts: A automatic upgrade of my Adobe Reader last week caused PDF files to go black when I tried to look at and print out rebates and when I got it fixed on the 15th I saw the SHORT term rebate to late to bother sending in.
I would NOT recommend doing business with Palit or any other company that tries to pull a FAST one like this. Buyer beware!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Faster than onboard, supports moderate gaming.

Cons: See Other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I got this video card to replace the onboard one. The video worked fine at first, but the sound wasn't working. I was running it through VGA, which doesn't support sound, while the video card was trying to use HDMI. All I had to do was change it in the BIOS, and it works fine now. Not really a problem with the card though. Other than that, great product! Very pleased with the results.

3 out of 5 eggsNo Low Profile Bracket!

Pros: No rebate.

Cons: I had checked off "Low Profile" (not even just "Low Profile Ready") in my search for this card, but it didn't come with a Low Profile bracket!

What good is that?

Other Thoughts: Would have picked a different card.

3 out of 5 eggsFor the price, its ok, I gues...

Pros: The price, 1GB DDR3, the price... Nice if your building a system NOT desined for alot of gaming. Did bring my WEI score from 2.0 onboard, to 4.1 with this card. Plays GTA 4 on medium settings, but will lag. Again, $45 card with a 1GB, get what you pay for! Newegg shipping ROCKED as usual!

Cons: Will over heat! No fan control in any program, wont O.C. worth darn! Died in five months. As I type, I am on my laptop running it thru my monitor as it finally died last night! Not the worst purchase for $40 bucks, what I paid. Will be spending the extra $100 or soo for a GTX 550 or GTS 550 with DDR5 and WONT buy palit again. Not newegg's fault!

Other Thoughts: Overall, for the price, either in a new budget build or cheap upgrade from onboard it WILL work and play some games. Nothing spectacular, just play them... Palit, well sad to say, second card from them and they just dont seem to last... Six months in with ANY form of mild game play, expect a dead card!!!

5 out of 5 eggspretty good card for price

Pros: its a pretty good card for the price, im using it as a hybrid sli with my mobo msi N750-G55 and its worked out pretty good, plays my games very good, some higher end games play on low/medium where as i could not play them before i had this.
shipping was hassle free got here 1 day early even though i ordered on a saturday night, plug and ply for the most part.

Cons: looks flimsy the driver cd i got had a driver that said it was not compatible with my card, confusing specially since it came with the card, but rebooted and worked fine, i bought this for cheap build and its what it is. the fan that comes with the card is rather small, but it works i added a fan next to it just to be save. no pics or emblem to show off, i know its only a $43 (at time of purchase) card but still would be nice.

Other Thoughts: Win XP SP 2 32bit (will upgrade to 7 if the egg shows me a good deal)
AMD Phenom (tm) II X4 955 BE 3.52 GHz
2 GB DDR3 1333 RAM(will upgrade to 6 soon)
MSI N750-G55 mobo
450w psu
and 4 cooling fans
all for under $300
ty to the egg, ur the best.
this is my first build and newegg.com has made it so easy
i may do this more often my friends have asked me to build them 1 just like mine, but better GPU.
bought most of this here except for psu, case(fans came with it), hdd, and OS.
