5 out of 5 eggsTechnology FINALLY Caught up

Pros: I bought this card in 2014. The 980 finally has identical stats. It was the first card I ever bought at this price and did it just because I could. I REGRET NOTHING.

Cons: the price? But that goes without saying since the trade off is 2 years worth of top of the line gaming. Still top of the line gaming but I mean it isn't BETTER than top of the line gaming anymore soooo take that for what it is worth.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent GFX solution without doubt

Pros: Small package, efficient, quiet cooler, uses only 41 amps so a 850 watt psu is usually more than adequate.
Works without any hiccups, silent as can be, performs better than expected.

Cons: Expensive as hell, CUDA acceleration was not as dramatic as I thought it would be.

Other Thoughts: After reading many reviews on the AMD products that had failed rather quickly and without warning, I'm a Navy vet and I prefer my equipment to be rock solid and reliable, so I looked elsewhere.
While this may not be the fastest card that is out there, nothing this small and this quiet exists in the AMD product line and I am working with a Mini ITX form factor, so it's a no brainer to choose this reliable GFX solution.
Other AMD solutions were too physically large to fit too.

5 out of 5 eggsMy *Third* Titan

Pros: (1) Superior construction by EVGA.( 2) The fastest GPU that exists, especially when doing CUDA/Compute 3.5 stuff. (3) Runs up to about 3 percent faster than the older non-black models.

Cons: The expense obviously - but worth the purchase given the huge double precision advantage over non Titan cards.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is a Titan

Pros: powerhouse of a card, it is actually very reasonable on energy consumption as well, due to massive memory of this card I have never even seen a textureless model on any game (on ultra setting nonetheless)

Cons: it is not DX12 compatible....and no, I am not even joking about that, the Titan series graphics cards will not be completely compatible with DirectX 12....apparently, it will run games that use it in a sort of, I guess you could say "nerfed" version...needless to say this is the biggest argument anyone should have about this card NOT it's price

Other Thoughts: The biggest reason I got this over other Nvidia cards, is because I built microATX computer, if I where to build in anything bigger I would most likely have gotten two GeForce GTX 780ti cards instead and set up a dual SLI configuration

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Plays most all games smoothly maxed out and works beyond expectation with Vegas Pro 13 and all of Adobe programs plus 3DS Max 2015

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: If you create multi media content and enjoy games and need full power compute less ECC than this is the card for that buyer

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card good purchase :)

Pros: Ok this card is a gaming card but it does have Double precision turned on and has a much bigger frame buffer which is always nice to have :)

Main reason I got this card was the 6gb frame buffer because seeing on how it will last me a good while or until the maxwell cards come out and at which point I would put this in my micro itx build which will be great :)

Overall it is an amazing card and will last you quite a long time because of the nice frame buffer that it has built onto it :)

Cons: This card is pricy but you get what you pay for and it was well worth it.

Other Thoughts: Get a 780ti if your gaming at high resolution as it is still a powerful card and well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Video Card

Pros: This Video Card is amazing, I replace my old GTX 690, that work’s fine until I bought a The Nixeus Vue 30″ IPS WQXGA (2560 x 1600) Monitor . My old GTX 690 can’t handle this resolution on high setting in games. Now with the GTX Titan, this is not a problem, all my games run smooth and fast.

Cons: The price pay for what you got.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Very fast, fairly quiet, lots of VRAM for super high res gaming (4k or in my case 5760x1080). This has the highest clock speeds of any of the Titan Blacks on the market.

Cons: If you know what your getting into: zip, zero, zilch. It's pricey but very much worth it.(if you REALLY can put it to use)

Other Thoughts: I thought I'd give you guys the skinny on its real power.
My home system comprises of the following:
Intel I7 4930k @ 3.4ghz(stock)
16Gb. Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 9-9-9-24 CR2
Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5 WIFI (Intel C606)
EVGA Titan Black Sig Ed (Stock clock)
Some Hard drives and ect.....
3DMARK Firestrike Extreme Score:5419
3DMARK Firestrike Score :10844
Also, I have been playing Wolfenstein New Order @ 5760x1080 around 30-50 fps.
Just for reference here were my runs with 2 560Ti 1gb in SLi on the same PC:
Firestrike Extreme:268
Firestrike :5604

My Work PC
Intel I7 4770 (Stock)
16Gb Dominator 1600 9-9-9-24 CR2
EVGA GTX 760 SC (Stock)
Firestrike Extreme:2992

The 760, 770 and 780 series cards are fantastic. However, they just do not have the VRAM for super high resolution rendering in a playable manner. This being said unless you are doing 4k or multi monitor resolutions above 1440p then sick with a 770/780/780 Ti save the money and buy your girlfriend something nice. Mine was not so lucky.

5 out of 5 eggsMisunderstood Beast

Pros: From anecdote, 9/10 people don't get the TITAN GTX, so don't believe everything you read.

1. IT IS a gaming GPU (it's the 780 GTX Ti with double precision (DP) turned on and +3GB GDDR5 of VRAM). Period.

2. The games this card will terrorize haven't even been released yet. Let's come back in 1.5 years and see how well the 780 GTX Ti is doing in these benchmark tests). The extra frame buffer will help and so will DP in FUTURE 1080 games, not just 4K. 4K gaming/video work will still likely require (2) TITAN GTX Black Signatures, so be ready for that.

3. 2-Way SLI = Titan Z-like performance for less money. Again, performance won't be likely be as good, but you save a $1k

4. For those of us that do more than game, rendering 3D models (3D printing), video/photo editing, etc will simply love this card; much better than the 780 GTX Ti.

This card IS faster than the 780 GTX Ti. People also forget the 780 GTX Ti came out 9 months AFTER the TITAN GTX. The TITAN GTX Black Signature is an amazing card. If you want to game and actually work for a living, this is the card to have.

Combine entry level Quadro like performance and the 780 GTX Ti and you have the TITAN GTX Black Signature.

Cons: For just gaming, the 780 GTX Ti is far cheaper and performs just as well TODAY (won't be the case 6-8 months most likely).

Other Thoughts: I recommend 2-way SLI

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice GPU.

Pros: 6GB VRAM
Noticeable performance improvement over GTX 780. (about 10 frames in games like Crysis 3 and Bf4)

Cons: No back-plate supplied.

Other Thoughts: I have to say, I'm quite impressed with this GPU. I was running out of VRAM on games like Wolfenstein and Battlefield. There was a very noticeable increase in Bf4 actually, ran at about 50 fps with everything maxed and 200% upscaling. Also, this reference cooler is about 5'C cooler than my 780 ACX under load, although I don't understand how that should happen. Very happy with my decision.
