4 out of 5 eggslasted pretty long... if 2 years counts as long.

Pros: most games i played stayed in 50-60 fps during medium - very high settings. but i never went past 768 pixels in height resolution (monitor/tv limit)

handled Maya, photoshop, and my favorite video games with no problem.

fairly cheap at it's time.

Cons: no DX11
wish it lasted longer.

Other Thoughts: 2 years with a fine video card is like a new record for me. i just wonder what caused it to fail even though it was clean as a whistle?

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING CARD

Pros: Lifetime warranty thank you zotac. The goodies is that its still running. im able to run gta IV almost on full getting around 18-35 fps. This card is good for mid range gamers. I can play all my game like half-life 2 all them on full settings and max resolution. it gets noisy at that point. My card idles at 50-52 degrees Celsius so nice and cool. on max load it is 70 degrees which isn't to hot.

Cons: none really. it can be loud when on max load at fan 100 percent. but that should be normal with pretty much any other graphics card.

Other Thoughts: I am very happy about it. good card recommend it any mid ranged gamers.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Low power requirement, although i bought a new power supply before i got this thinking i would need the pci-e connector but i ended up not needing it for this card, no biggie at least i know i got a connector for the future. Runs everything i need it to run for, got starcraft2 set to all ultra with no problems at all (this is actually why i got the card) no complaints at all plus an awesome warranty plus free shipping, happy days :)

Cons: nope

Other Thoughts: love newegg but if you buy something on a weekend day it always takes an extra day for shipping :( at least for me

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: * Single slot
* No extra power connector needed
* Fast enough to run anything modern (all the way up for most)
* 5-year warranty

Cons: * No DX11 support (not much of a con)

Other Thoughts: I've been a hardcore XFX fan for years, but I was in a pinch this time. My fiancee (now wife :) ) was having trouble with her vid card - an older Radeon (4350?), and it needed replacement. I'd never bought a Zotac card before, but this one got good reviews. She does a lot of graphics design and some gaming, so reliability was the top priority. We toyed with the idea of a Radeon, but even with the new 5000 series cards I was iffy about driver support. Basically, this card is a high-end (not top of the line, but close) two-gen old card, and as a rule it tends to be faster than any comparably-priced current-gen card. The main thing this is missing is DX11 support, but that's not going to make much of a difference at this speed anyway. The only notable DX11 game now is DiRT 2, which is still gorgeous in DX10. Newer games might use DX11, but they'll probably need a faster card than this much money will buy you anyway. This card has been perfect for us - I would gladly buy Zotac again.

4 out of 5 eggsLow wattage high noise

Pros: - 75W max
- No 6-pin required
- Custom PCB and heatsink
- 1 PCIe slot
- 512MB for best performance on 256-bit bus

Cons: - Loud fan (better than reference design)

Other Thoughts: I have this and a BFG 1GB 9800GT ecoIntelligence. The Zotac runs about 10C cooler in both in idle and 100% load. The Zotac's main benefit is the custom PCB and much larger heatsink, it's about 2x the surface area of the nVidia reference design used in the BFG, PNY and others. This does help the card run cooler, but the fan they used is loud. During normal 2D use, it runs @ 35% and I can hear it over everything, when it hits 100% for 3D it sounds like a vacuum cleaner! The ideal card would be this exact same card but FANLESS. Good effort by Zotac on the custom design.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: Runs great, pretty quiet (even though all my case fans make a lot of noise). Ran Quake Wars, Unreal Tournament 3, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter just fine.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Strangely enough, the card does NOT have a 6-pin PCI-E power connection. I'm not sure why, because my GeForce 7900 GS did and this card is more powerful.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: Low Cost, Great Performance.

Cons: Nothing as for as I know

Other Thoughts: The great thing is that it doesn't require power to run the thing, and I play some games that require a lot of power to run like Bioshock 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, so when I am running these games on full everything and still getting great frame rates... Best buy I would say for a video card.

4 out of 5 eggssorry bough a comp though this was it

Pros: Great card fits with ease. only takes up one pci slot. No need for the 6 pin connector

Cons: Does not come with newest drivers. If you dont have internet connection you should buy a newer card.

Other Thoughts: Great card played bfbc2 on high but i need the new drivers, some textures missing.
