5 out of 5 eggsGreat product to be lower end

Pros: * Works great for general purpose PC work
* Installed easily in Windows 7 Home Premium

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Using this video card on dual DVI monitors on an older i7 with Windows 7 Home Premium. I don't do any gaming or high-end graphics work. Just needed a decent general purpose dual DVI card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for bucks

Pros: -Quiet
-Perform well considering the price

Cons: Not really a con, but it's still entry level card. Dont expect to game on this card.

Other Thoughts: Bought it for my grandparents's pc so they can watch youtube in high quality and run 1080p display. Does the job at a good price without flaw.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Got this on sale for backup rig, works great so far.

Cons: Didn't come with an adapter to use a full sized hdmi cable, luckily I had a spare.

Score is slightly lower than I thought in WEI, but who goes by that anyway..

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent choice for a dual display setup

Pros: Runs cool and quiet
Very low power requirements.
It helps speed up video decoding, encoding and conversion if your program is design to take advantages of GPU acceleration.

Cons: Could conflict with Windows 8 and you might get a black screen after installing drivers.
That issue is not present on Windows 7 or XP.

Other Thoughts: Installed on a Dell Optiplex 755.
If you install this card on Windows 8 allow Windows to download and install updates before installing the nVidia drivers. Otherwise, you could get a black screen.

1 out of 5 eggsCustomer service is a joke

Pros: pretty

Cons: Poor customer service

Other Thoughts: I had problems with AA in directx games, maybe software, but after trying fixes in Nvidia control panel, I contacted Galaxy with a detailed description of problem, and asking if card could cause that. It takes them 4-5 days, if at all, to respond to an email, or through their website trouble ticket. Included in the answer when I would finally hear back from them was "new drivers out, try them". My friends had 670 video cards with same current drivers as I, but had no problem with AA settings. I would never waste my money on a Galaxy card again, based on slow CS response. Too many bad cards, for CS to keep up with? You be the judge. Yes, it was, I discovered on my own, a Nvidia CP setting, and not a bad card, but slow CS response is the point, Hope you dont need CS support from them. BTW, when you email the galaxy dude that posts his email here, you just get a form email back giving you a link to their website. Big whoop.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi onceburned,

I'm sorry- I think you might have mistaken us for another company. This is ZOTAC. If the card is indeed defective, please email me at juliette@zotacusa.com and I will see if we can get things squared away.

Thank you,
Juliette

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Little Card

Pros: Runs quiet enough for HTPC use. Handles 1080p content flawlessly.

Cons: This is not even classified as a low-end gaming card for modern games. Know what you need it for.

Other Thoughts: This was purchased to help out an old integrated Intel GMA 965 graphics chipset that was protesting 1080p HTPC work. Bonus that it was $15 after MIR. No brainer.

4 out of 5 eggsValue edition

Pros: Max resolution 2560 x 1600 with 2 DVI outputs and 1 HDMI. Bought the card for the closeout price of $15 for a 600 series. It is a great way to add some life to your old computer and I am starting to build a good collection of these value cards from Newegg!

Cons: Passmark rating is not much higher than my Radeon HD 6450 but it gives me more details while gaming. Was able to use an accelerator from another GeForce card and boost performace with no stability issues.

Other Thoughts: Buying a card that I can game with without breaking the bank works for me!

2 out of 5 eggsBeware of mis-handled rebate

Pros: Card is adequate for the price.

Cons: If you buy this with a rebate, don't expect a quick turn-around and keep a record. I bought two Zotac video cards in the past year and I am yet to see either rebate (one submitted 7 months ago and the other 4 months ago). When I called their rebate support they tell me its on the way!

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Please email lee@zotacusa.com with your full name, email submitted during the time of the rebate submission, and the serial number of the product you were applying for. I will gladly check up on the status for you.

Thanks
