Does the 1060 mini need pcie? because i didn't get a cable and misplaced mine? will it run without the 6 pin power supply (my 750 ti didnt need it)?

the 1060 mini is powered by a single 6 pin connector from the power supply.  If you do not have a 6 pin pcie connector from the power supply it will not run properly. Most modern power supplies have the pcie power connector. If yours does not you can try google searching to see if there is an adapter cable available to convert from 12V power supply cable to 6 pin pcie cable. If you do this be sure to verify your power supply is adequately sized to support a gtx 1060 which consumes approximately 120W under load.

Will the 1060 mini fit in my ATX motherboard?

I put mine in an ITX motherboard, and while its small size makes it ideal for ITX use, it plugs into a standard PCIe slot, so it should fit just fine anywhere a full-sized card would.

Sure is! Any board with a pci-e x16 port will take this card. (It's the really long straight port).

A very large upgrade. I had the 6970 double d replaced that with an r7 260x then went to the 1060 and then the 1070. The 1000 series nvidia cards are the best!

Does the mini card rear exhaust or blow into the case?

I'm pretty sure it is going to exhaust out of the case,if anything. The picture shows the fan blows down onto the gpu chip. I would not expect much air flow into or out of the card with this small cooler on top. Also, this gpu runs pretty cool with low power so I would not worry about heat if you have a half decent case setup.

No. SLI is no longer works for any 1060 card. However it would be compatible with DirectX 12 or Vulkan multi-GPU, but that means that only games that support Dx12/Vulkan could potentially support multi GPU with 1060's, and most will not. The 1060 is a terrible card for multi GPU setups because of this, if you want to crossfire or SLI then an AMD RX 480 or GTX 1070 is what you should buy.

The 1060 and 970 are very similar but the 1060 6gb comes out ahead. I would recommend buying this over the 970. I've been using one since 2016 and it's still going strong. I use it for VR with no problem. Google gtx 1060 vs gtx 970 and click on the userbenchmarks link. That will give you a good idea of how they perform compared to one another.

Yes it will work fine.  I'm guessing you're asking because the motherboard supports PCIe 2.0 (not 3.0) ... it's no problem to run a PCIe 3.0 graphics card in a PCIe 2.0 slot.

From my experience with ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 mini, it is capable of giving out maximum performance/quality on 1920x1080 resolution. I believe that nvidia had intended for this card, the gtx 1060, to be best best option for quality in 1080p gaming.

ex. The witcher 3 maintained 90-110 fps in most locations of the game world with graphical settings tuned to ultra minus the Nvidia hairworks setting.
