From one of the premiere names in professional video comes the DualHead2Go. Matrox has designed this adapter to easily split your display across three monitors, even if your computer only has one output. Just connect your computer and monitors to the appropriate D-Sub ports and get a new definition of "widescreen".

You can have one application open on each monitor, or you can stretch an application across all three. This lets you have all of a graphics programs tools on one screen and the uncluttered image on the other. Gamers get an expanded field of view to give them a great advantage since they can better see who is sneaking up on them.

  • newegg Exceptional Multi-display Solution With the Matrox DualHead2Go Analog Edition Graphic eXpansion Module, add up to two monitors to your system previously limited to a single monitor for maximum onscreen real estate.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Refund For A Reason

Pros: Okay if you want to take your existing screen and make it spread accross two monitors.

Cons: Screen Resolution is not so good, overpriced, non-returnable, feel like a fool for buying it, resale value is about 1% of the product, can find a cheaper version on eeebeigh

Other Thoughts: I really wish I wouldn't have bought this. I thought it might serve well to expand my two monitors, but I didn't realize that the screen resolution on my current monitor was 3 times better than the screen resolution of this box. I can actually fit more on my single montior than what I can with both monitors with this

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: Got this for a system where we needed to run to projectors at the same time and split the display to make a huge screen.

Works flawlessly, make sure you follow the instructions to a tee!

Cons: None, does what it promises.

3 out of 5 eggsShould have done more research

Pros: Good IF you want to combine two screens into one humongous screen

Cons: NOT good if you want to use two monitors separately. If you maximize it spans both monitors and so does your task bar.

I do not believe that there is a way to make two distinct outputs using this. You should look into buying another video card if you want that functionality.

5 out of 5 eggsMAC OSX 10.6

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do.

Cons: Could not get it to work with my DELL LATITUDE D830, but worked with no software for my MACBOOK.

Other Thoughts: I ended up purchasing the Digital Edition and I am not even sure why. I had more than enough desktop space with two 19 inch monitors using the Analog Edition. It's part of my economic stimulus package I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsDual Head2Go

Pros: This box works great! This is much cheaper than high end dual-head graphics cards and the only thing I've found to work well to do dual-screen presentations with laptops. It even will play video across both screens!

Cons: Its one more piece to carry to the presentation, but its not that big.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you read the resolution performance to see if you need the digital or the analog version. Both work great, but the digital can handle more pixels.
