Rating: 5/5Works great with win7 64 bit however...
Pros: Remote is awesome...easy to navigate media center... mute, sleep mode, tv channel menu button, etc...this was the best feature of buying this card.
Cons: Make sure you use the driver that comes with the disk. I was building a htpc and using tv antenna. Windows auto detected the wrong driver and I couldn't figure this out for a bit. I went back to basics and installed the driver that came with the card and it worked fine and auto detected signal for channels.
Other Thoughts: I needed a pci card which is reason i bought this. I am happy with it.

Rating: 5/5Great & works w/ Windows 7,64 bit
Pros: Great compatibility w/ windows 7 64 bit. Works like a champ. Remote works w/ other programs as well such as the blue ray player program that came with my LG BD drive.
Cons: None other than a bit pricey, but worth it to me.

Rating: 5/5Windows 7 64 bit, no issues
Pros: - Works great, remote is a huge plus. - Can access windows media player-music/TV/internet TV/Netflix/recorded shows with the remote from couch. - Can mute, volume, channel change, etc from couch. - Can even sleep computer with remote so i don't have to get out of bed if about to sleep. - I wasn't sure this would work with 64 bit windows, etc based on a review from earlier that stated they had issues and had to return item, but works flawless with my 64 bit system using only the install disc supplied.
Cons: - No major cons, but can't un-sleep computer with remote...you have to provide mouse input or power button like normal.
Other Thoughts: Haven't had time to mess with resolution, but after cable is input, and HDMI is output the screen size is not correct for newer TV's. Fairly certain i can change this on the computer setting or TV setting to get correct aspect ratio.

Rating: 4/5Works well after some effort
Pros: Works well with Windows Media Center. I frequently record analog NTSC and clear channel digital both over cable with good results. Have not tried ATSC over-air.
Cons: At first I had difficulty with the analog video often freezing. Web reserch showed others have had this problem with this and with other cards also on analog content. The fix wasn't entirely clear. In my case I changed the target drive from C: (MCE default) to my D: drive and the problem went away!
Other Thoughts: I spent a lot of time trying to fix the video freeze problem but now that I'm passed that I'm enjoying this card! I haven't tried any other software other then MCE.

Rating: 5/5Great card for MythTV, DirectTV and Linux
Pros: Tunes normal cable signals like those offered by Charter Also has an S-Video and RCA input as well as an IR Blaster and remote to make it possible to use with DirectTV, or basically control any kind of set-top-box Video4Linux drivers generally built right into the kernel ( depends on version) Remote and IR Blaster were covered perfectly by the packages available in Ubuntu 8.0.4.3 LTS Video quality is acceptable, though at times it seems like it could be a bit higher Works excellent with MythTV and is very well documented and supported
Cons: The Videl4Linux drivers are a bit finicky. One must do some unloading an reloading of the module into the kernel to get it to work right, otherwise it just plays "static" or a solid color ( color varies). Easy fix is to unload and reload module cx18. It can still be somewhat annoying.
The compilation of the V4L drivers didn't exactly go through without a hitch. They were a pain in the but to compile correctly as a module. Still not exactly sure why.
The IR Emitter that comes with the IR Blaster seems like it could be a little more powerful, and the remote would be better if it were programmable.
Other Thoughts: I think this card is well worth the money, but I haven't nor did I ever intend to record HD content with it. I also think that this card is a better option because of the RCA audio inputs versus composite.

Rating: 4/5works pretty good.
Pros: capable of recording HD over the air 1080i, and 420p from the cablebox, or coax(VCR,Satalitebox, etc)
Cons: does not record HD from the cablebox. 420i or 420p. it also uses a hard drive video pause buffer which fills up my 80 gig os drive in about 8hrs, then i have to delete the files.
Other Thoughts: the cable co. encrypts the coax signals so you can not watch them without renting one of there boxes for HDTV. its not the interfaces fault. and it does have some hicuupps when ran for more than a few hours.
