Nice addition to encoding
- Pros: This card will enhance almost everything. Actually, the software is fantastic.
- Cons: Still takes a long time to transcode files. Pegasys TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress Software does a wonderful job. I tried the mainconcept transcode and it does not compete. Divx files at insane take just as long without this card.
- Other Thoughts: I truly believe this card delivers. It does make difference when trying to enhance a movie. I have only tried to transcode spurs engine thus far. Like I said, it does make a difference. That being said, I have the component pvr hooked up and there is not realy a reason to enhance. The arcsoft software does a great job. You still need software to transcode your movies over.
