5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Card!!!

Pros: This card is outstanding! It meet, and then exceeded my expectations. At the time of purchase I used the card with our cable. When we switched to over the air ATSC it was even better! Dual tuner makes recording tv and watching it at the same time a breeze. Internal splitting means you don't have to have multiple coax cables running into your box.

Cons: Remote is nearly impossible to get working in mythbuntu.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this card to anyone looking into building a HTPC, its sleek, small, and perfect for my needs. I recommended this to a friend for purchase as well. (With the exception of the remote) it works flawlessly we myth!

5 out of 5 eggsThis product is GREAT!

Pros: Dual Digital Tuner, dual analog tuner (see cons), excellent video quality, low power consumption. I am able to record 2 digital channels at once through WMC, and the remote controls WMC like a champ!

Cons: ok. Some people seem to think the card does not work on some systems. Here's the deal: Its either a Dual Digital, or a dual analog capture card. It is *NOT* a Digital + analog reciever. you WILL need 2 cards if you wish to record a digital channel and watch an analog channel. you cannot record an analog channel and a digital channel at the same time.

Other Thoughts: built my self an HTPC, and this card completes the package.

I'm Running:
AMD Phenom X4 965 BE
4GB OCZ Black Edition DDR3 @1600Mhz
Dvico FustionHDTV7 Dual Express
OCZ 600W sxs PSU (died within one week... RMA sent.)
Western Digital AV-GP WD10EVDS 1TB SATA 3.0Gb/s

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Tuner Card

Pros: Works great on Win 7 64-bit using Windows Media Center. It pulls in every channel, available in my area. The power down option on the card is great. I can remotely power down the system.

Cons: If you don't like WMC the bundled software is well...good luck. I would recommend finding other software.

Other Thoughts: Upon install, go directly to the Manufacturer's website and download the updated drivers, and you shouldn't have any issues. I use the Lenovo Multimedia Remote with Keyboard with my system. This card combined with the remote, over the air broadcasting, dual channel recording capabilities and a subscription to Netflix, access to Hulu makes for a great Multimedia PC experience. Cancelled cable over a year ago, and haven't missed it in the least.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work

Pros: None

Cons: I have been struggling with this card for over a year. I keep downloading the latest drivers from the website and no luck. Each time I install a "new" driver, I format the hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows (XP and Vista and 7 32-bit). No luck.

Other Thoughts: I have given up on this card. I purchased AverMedia cards and they work very well. Why can't this one work? $130 down the drain.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: some times it works well

Cons: too many times the software becomes corrupt and i have to reinstall the software to get it working back again.

Other Thoughts: i own one of their single tuner model and i never had a problem with it but this model gives me nothing but trouble.if the tv signal goes out for to long then the software becomes corrupt and i can't get the picture to show even when the signal strenght is very high.

5 out of 5 eggsWindows 7 64bit ready

Pros: The picture quality is amazing. I had a famous name USB TV tuner, the picture quality is night and day. As it has a 1920 X 1080i standard resolution! I am using a cable box, so I am only using channel 3. Setup and running in 15 minutes including installation time. You can use it's own program "FusionHDTV" to watch TV. So you don't have to use MCE, but you can if you want. The program will automatically fill your screen. The program works in Windows 7 Pro 64 bit without a problem. I ran it for around 7 hours without a crash.

Cons: The only problems I have are I can't do PIP, which is to be expected with a cable box. Often on start up the sound plays like a blown speaker, lots of static. But within two minutes or less it corrects it's self. And the sound is great so not really a con.

Other Thoughts: The card can be internally wired to turn the computer on. While you can't log into an account (if you have more than one) it is still a cool feature. Skip the installation disc and download the new drivers off their website.
Plus it has Composite & S-Video in. I have yet to test those. It also comes with a low profile face plate. I have owned multiple TV tuners over the last 9 years. This is by far the most superior one that I've owned. I think the PCI-Express interface makes a difference.

3 out of 5 eggsNot ready for prime time

Pros: Features look awesome in paper, it supports Windows XP 64-bit and the image quality is good, and the smoothness of the image is good as weel with the new 3.81 software (Windows XP x64) and has a remote

Cons: The advertising in the web site is not totally truthful. The EPG guide actually does not work. I have Comcast expanded cable (I only receive the Free HD channels, NO decoder box) and the card is not capable to display the EPG guide. Aparently they need each channel to send the EPG information which does not happen in this case since it seems that Comcast trasmits the guide in a separate channel. However my Sony Bravia TV is capable to get this guide.
At the begginging the video was very choppy and consume a lot of the computers resources. With the last upgrade of the software (3.81) quality video is perfect, PIP works perfectly as well (thought the PIP window is not refreshed in real time)

IN general I think this is a great hardware, with a very poor software, tech support is not very helpfull, their english is not good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Turner

Pros: This turner is great. Just upgraded from two seperate Fusion cards(3 and a 5) to this one. I was having reception problems, dropouts etc. But now with dual 7 turner all problems are cleared up. This card is installed an 32 bit Vista Medial Center PC that I built myself. I installed the newest software available at the Dvico web site.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have had the other two fusion cards for many years. The Fusoin 3 was purchased back in 2003 and the fusion 5 was purchased back in 2005. These two cards did a great job of pulling in the OTA station until the digital transition back in June. We had a few stations here in central NC that drop their power. I believe the dropouts was mostly cause by these drops in power by the local stations. The Fusion Dual 7 HDTV is more sensitive in pulling in these weaker signals.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great in Windows 7 x64

Pros: Overall, this is a very good dual digital tuner. I have had a great experience recording and watching live TV - sometimes doing both at once. It comes with a remote, which is very convenient. It works great in Windows XP 32-bit and Windows XP x64.

Cons: Tweaking it to work in Linux is a nightmare. No matter what I did, I could not get the remote to work. I also had to use new v4l-dvb drivers rather than the ones included in the kernel to get the device to work. It did work great without the remote in Linux after that, though, but the remote spoiled me.

On some programs, I have noticed it tuning the picture brightness without doing anything. Sometimes, it will progressively darken. Also, the quality of the picture is still better when watching the TV through its tuner as opposed to through this tuner.
