THE SOLUTION FOR THOSE NEEDING PINS

Pros: Provides pins to those of us with older motherboards which do not have the USB pins. Solved my problem of installing the flash card reader I wanted, without having to order something I didn't want (like those that require using a USB cable running to the outside of the case). Absolutely no problem installing it and XP didn't even need the driver disc. Works like a champ!

Cons: As at least one other reviewer noted, the pins will face an adjoining PCI card (unless you reposition existing cards) making the installation of a cable to the pins a bit of a tight fit.

Other Thoughts: If planning on using the pins and this card will be against existing PCI cards, suggest installing card and having it recognized. Then remove card and hook up hardware cable to pins before re-inserting to slot. No way you're getting a cable on these pins if they face another card. Place pins on opposite side? Maybe a couple more ports?

Pros: Installed without problems. Liked the connector for case front mounted USB. Priced very reasonable.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: If you have a older system without USB2.0 this PCI card will provide rear and front USB2.0 :o)

It works, but...

Pros: It's cheap, it works and it's low-profile.

Cons: Even after loading the drivers (Didn't think I would have to), it still shows up as an unidentified device in the device manager. All things being said, I am running windows 7 64bit so maybe that's the issue, but hasn't been a problem with any other hardware.

Other Thoughts: Rosewill is still a good barnd at a cheaper price and all-in-all the card still works.

Pros: Did just what I wanted it to. Inexpensive.

Other Thoughts: motherboard had 1 internal usb for front panel this card provided the other plus 2 on back. Only card I seen with the male pin connector same as the motherboard.
