Pros: Analog tuner, as in "cable ready". VGA output. Reasonable price. I use them to monitor my security cameras. Camera to CATV to tuner box to VGA monitor in multiple rooms.

Cons: Others say it's cheaply built. I appreciate it being light weight. As long as you don't stomp on it you'll be fine.

Other Thoughts: I own several such boxes from KWorld and they hold up for years as opposed to the Encore boxes that die in a year or two. I lost many Encores. I'm back to stock up while I can find these. I have a large investment in LCD VGA displays and don't want to buy little HDTV's to replace them all.
