5 out of 5 eggsGood for OTA viewers

Pros: Works great, good sensitivity and easy setup.

Cons: none at the moment.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to review this, since some of the reviews have been all over the map. I've used an outside antenna for years and have a regular-sized (about 5 feet long) antenna mounted on the chimney with a pre-amp mounted at the antenna. I'm 30 - 40 miles from the antenna sites. I have a good signal even though there is a hill between me and the transmitters. I also have a rotator to turn it, and that helps.

All that to say this: if you can get a good signal, this device will pick up as well as any TV out there. Several reviewers have complained about this, but perhaps they were using an earlier model or had another issue.

Put it on your network, run the setup s/w, and watch with either Media Center or another app. For a tablet, you can buy an app (HomeRun) for that.

Great picture as expected, but works better and quicker than my PCI-based internal HDTV card. All in all, if you want to share TV, this is a better way of doing it rather than splitters and coax. Wireless works with this, but like any video streaming you've got to have a decent wireless signal.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great, Low Cost

Pros: 2 tuners
Small footprint

Cons: only has 2 tuners, 4 would be great.

Other Thoughts: Came 5/14, connected in less than 5min. WMC setup took about 10min. pulls all of my local channels in. I am using 2 amplified UHF antennas and a distribution amp so the reception is great. If you are using just a piece of wire your reception will suck. Use a decent antenna and put an amp right @ the antenna to over come any cable loss. Have one tuner dedicated to the Bedroom HTPC and one to the game room HTPC as OTA backup. Each has a networked InfiniTV cable card tuner as well. Will be getting another for the main desktop rig which is what I do all of my DVR recording on.

5 out of 5 eggsHDHomeRun Dual HDHR TV Tuner

Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to do: gives you network attached HD TV tuner, available to all your PCs on you home network. Excellent support, whenever there is an issue (e.g. no sound, or no picture on a particular PC) they respond very quickly, and have always gotten issues resolved.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Your level of satisfaction will depend on your digital TV signal reception, and the quality of your HD antenna. There are websites (antenna.com, etc.) that specifically tell you what broadcast signals are available, and the rating for the antenna you will need to maximize reception. I own 3 HDHR units (total of network 6 tuners; 4 on one antenna, 2 on another); I use Windows Media Center (started in Vista, now use on Win 7 & Win 8); Note: to overcome the 4 tuner limitation on WMC, I purchased a small program, Tuner Salad, and can now record 6 programs simultaneously (i5 Win7 HP, 3TB HD, 8gb ram). FYI, over-the-air HD (1080i) is better than cable (some cable cos use signal compression, etc).

5 out of 5 eggsThis saves me a bunch of money

Pros: I own 2 of these (so I can record 4 channels at a time) and they have worked great without a single problem. Very easy to setup and now I can watch TV on any computer that is on my network whether it is wired or wireless. I had Dish Network for over $100 a month and now I pay $0.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: I see that there is some confusion about these devices, this one is for use with Regular Digital TV antennas. If you want to use it with your cable provider you will need to buy the HomeRun Prime which will record 3 channels at a time. You will also have to get a card from your cable company to insert into the HomeRun Prime so you can get all your channels that you pay for including premium chanels, but you will no longer need any cable boxes on any of your TV's. My son has 2 on his home network so he can record 6 channels at a time.

4 out of 5 eggsGreaat little device

Pros: I like this tuner, it pulls in all kinds of channels, but of course I have a big antenna on my roof that wasn't being used... it's the only way to get a great clear picture.

Cons: I agree 10/100/1000tx on the network would be good, then they could support Full 1080p - this one only tunes 1080i and two tuners on 1080i without compression would by my calculations just fill 10/100tx. Some of us still use broadcast television - they are making most units for cable. How about 4 tuners or multicast on 1000tx for antenna use?

Other Thoughts: See above.

4 out of 5 eggsSpectacular

Pros: Incredibly easy to setup, can stream 2 channels at a time through 1 antenna, small enoguh to be tucked away behind a monitor, tv, desk, etc.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that the network connection is 10/100 instead of the more modern 10/100/1000. However, I have not run into any issues with congestion.

Other Thoughts: Some people have complained about signal issues coming off as weak, I have yet to run into any of these issues and it has actually picked up more channels than my TV has.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome tuner

Pros: Network connectivity so it can be used with any device on your network, dual tuners, very good quality, pulls in more channels than my old Avermedia cards.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This thing is great. It lets me watch live TV on every device on my network, HTPC, main desktop, 2 laptops, kids computer, 2 tablets, and my phone. How awesome is that?!

4 out of 5 eggsWin8 + VLC

Pros: 1 min to install the hardware, went to company website and downloaded the software for a quick install. The software picked up the turner with no issue, but it turns out the free TV Viewer app doesn't work on Win8 since Win8 doesn't include mpeg2 codec. Finally found VLC will work along with the setup program running at the same time. So I can easily change channel and view all the station great now. The only annoyance is you have to run the setup program to control VLC.

Cons: I search the web and saw this tuner works with XMBC, but it is really a hassle and seems XBMC is considering dropping the support for HomeRun. The alternative is to buy WMC for Win8 for $99 or some other commercial option.

Other Thoughts: Works great for simple TV watching. DVR option through XBMC still can't figure out how to make it out.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: This thing was so easy to set up! I didn't even use the CD, just went to the devices IP address and it's web interface gave me the driver download and the setup instructions. I coupled this with my other USB tuner and now I have 3 tuners for my Windows Media Center setup.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsSetting the record straight.

Pros: This device does exactly what it says it will do. Have had zero problems with any operations. Best for use with OTA (over the air), NOT CABLE. If you have cable service, then buy The HD-Prime. It uses an M-card from your cable company and receives all the digital channels. These devices are STRICTLY DIGITAL, not analog, so don't expect any channel that is not HD to work.

Cons: It would appear obvious, (from comments) that a better description of what the product is capable of doing and its limitations, need to be addressed.
