5 out of 5 eggsNice Rack

Pros: Sturdy, Looks Good, Easy To Setup, Fast Shipping on Neweggs part.

Cons: Would be nice it were a few more U. A slightly larger rack would give you more usable vertical space.

Other Thoughts: Great for Cisco Lab practice. CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Security (with the right gear). I am currently using two of these racks and about to buy a third.

5 out of 5 eggsNice RACK!!!

Pros: Good price, easy to assemble, comes with some extra screws, decent paint finish...

Cons: While not the best instructions, it is still pretty self-explanatory to figure out... Just make sure that you put the long flat piece at the bottom where everything screws together. The picture that they show in the instructions shows no bottom piece and you'll want to have that to add rigidity and more structure. Other then that, nice little rack!

Other Thoughts: The price is good, would be really nice if they would also include a small 1U shelf with it, then you could store your small junk, like a cable (or DSL or whatevs) modem, small firewall / wifi router and maybe a cheapo UPS.... Construction is pretty decent and I think this will hold up as long as it doesn't get loaded up with a crazy amount of hardware, i.e., old Pentium Pro 200MHz Duke Nukem 3D development boxes....

4 out of 5 eggsWork as intended.

Pros: It does what it is suppose to do,. It houses my routers and switches and allows to me stage my equipment,.

Cons: Is does NOT come with enough mounting screws to fuill the rack. I was only able to mount five devices with the hardware provided. Also the tool that allows for easy insertion of the mounting nuts was not provided.

Other Thoughts: Where can I oder more mounting hardware?

5 out of 5 eggsGood little rack

Pros: Compact, sturdy, easy assembly, comes with mounting hardware (cage nuts + screws)

Cons: None noted

Other Thoughts: Currently using this as part of a CCNP lab with some switches and routers, works great. Surprised how sturdy it is for such a small unit. Fits just about anywhere which is nice, currently have it sitting on the floor.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cheap Rack

Pros: Extremely cheap, sturdy, comes with screws, nice finish on the metal, did I mention cheap? Also, there are no sharp corners.

Cons: At first you may think it is not sturdy, but once you get a unit in it's actually very sturdy.

Other Thoughts: This thing holds my UPS, switch, server, modem, router, and raid enclosures perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat home rack

Pros: Well-built, inexpensive, easy to assemble, just the right size, fast delivery.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: As previous reviewers have described, this is an excellent little rack, perfect for a home setup. I have two Netra X1s (small 13" deep telecom server), a power strip, and a shelf for two small switches and a modem. I plan to add one or two more small servers in the future to complete the home web / mail / nameserver setup for several hobby websites.

As for ease of assembly, the only thing that got me was the five minutes it took to figure out that I needed to take the plastic pin out of the middle of the rubber feet before inserting them into the hole, then put it back in to secure it. D'oh! (Yeah, OK, maybe I shouldn't rate myself 5 stars for tech knowledge.)

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect... Just perfect for an under-desk rack system!

Pros: Very well built. Ive been looking for a good under-desk rack for test servers and and such for a while. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $300+++ for a dozen pieces of bent sheetmetal. It's perfect for SMALL rackmount servers (do NOT try to mount a full size server on a 2 post rack... ever), networking equipment, and probably AV equipment as well. And the price, well I feel like I stole it!

Cons: Instructions? Who needs instructions? Well if you are one of those people that can't assemble a sandwich without instructions, this is probably NOT for you.

Other Thoughts: As other posters stated, wire management WOULD be nice, but it's still the best value anywhere!
