5 out of 5 eggsGood Color Pack

Pros: As noted by someone, This IS A COLOR SET.You can't fault newegg for something Epson does. I had to replace my black earlier, so this is exactly what I need. I was in stores today, and it sells for $64 to $72, so this is an outstanding price. As always Newegg comes through

Cons: It doesn't last forever...haha

4 out of 5 eggsWorks on R200, R220, R300

Pros: I use the Epson brand units to get accurate prints on CD and DVD media. They work wonderfully.

Cons: The specs used to say these worked for the R200, R220, R300 and a few others, and they still do! Now those units are left off the list for some odd reason. That omission along with the lack of a black cartridge gets the Newegg description one less egg of a rating.

Other Thoughts: The ink cartridges rock, the Newegg description is a little lacking. At least Newegg always has these in stock. I never have to search all over a sea of cartridges in a store any more. That's worth a bit of time saved for me even if shipping puts it a little above store price sometimes.

5 out of 5 eggsInk

Pros: They make a quality ink, and makes for quality prints on everything you do. Rather it be a CD you print on, or a piece of photo paper.

Cons: It's expensive, but if you print photo's like I do, there is no price on the size, and the way you want your photo.
I heard someone say epson ink drains fast. That's because the pictures are vivid bright, loaded with color. And look real, thats hard to say no to...

Other Thoughts: They say Color pack here, it does not come with black.
Blue, Lblue, Red, Lred, Yellow.
That's what you get in this pack. And if you run out of red, then replace it, as you need. Don't need to bump the rest of the colors because you printed a red only picture.

4 out of 5 eggsI rate the way I see it

Pros: One egg removed is not a poor rating. 4-eggs is "good". I'm not sure how to rave about ink other than saying it's good quality and lasts a long time.

Cons: Again, I buy an Epson branded 6-color set locally for just a little more than this, but no shipping. When it's not under "free shipping" promotions, I end up paying more here for this 5-color and adding a black, so I just took one egg off. That's a COST ding, not quality.

When I'm out of ink, I can't wait for a promotion and will return to the local vendor next year when it runs out again. It cost me TO48120 (black) is +$15 with $6 shipping, which had put me at $80 at the time of my purchase. I still see it at about $70 at a local warehouse style hardware store.

Other Thoughts: I didn't ding the product for not having black, just underlined it for others in "Other Thoughts". I still don't. It doesn't say it has black, but worth reminding others and myself on orders.

I see it the way I see it. Glad others feel $80 is fine for ink to have on it's price tag. I like $70. And I do say I'm average and not some photo printing guru. Just working doesn't make a single view on items worth 5 eggs IMO. It's subjective.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat Are You Saying

Pros: This is cheaper than anywhere else, Even Than Sams Cl**. I have had my printer for over 5 years now and this is the 3rd time I have had to replace the ink 4 times, this being the 4th. Lasts forever and works great.

Cons: People rating this poorly because they didnt get black ink, newegg doesnt make the ink they sell it, It has always been that way since I started buying it for my R300.

Other Thoughts: When you give a rating you rate the product and what it does not what you wish it could do, If you read the specs on the ink you get exactly what you buy... If the ink came in a box and did not work then I would rate it low.

4 out of 5 eggsNo black

Pros: Easy to install, snaps right in. Lasts a long time; more than usual anyway. Photo prints on the R340 really look good, and DVD/CD's look professional.'s Epson ink.

Cons: Same price after shipping as a six color set locally. Still nuts that ink in general costs what it does.

Other Thoughts: Third time I've done this, so I should know better...but there's no black. Printer doesn't even try to print without a full black being in. So just understand it's 5 color when we need six.

5 out of 5 eggsLove these Epson cartridges

Pros: I have used these Epson ink cartridges for several years on my Epson R300 printer and they are great! The photos look like real photos and the printable DVD’s are amazing! (I have read in several places that you should not use paper labels on DVD’s, so that is why I love the printable DVD’s!) Plus the photos printed with Epson ink are water resistant, unlike some brands of ink cartridges (which shall remain nameless). Plus, when you need a new ink cartridge, I like the fact that you only have to buy the color you are out of, instead of an ink cartridge that covers all the colors (except black). Even if I could buy a generic ink that could fit my R300, I wouldn’t do it.

Cons: If we were talking about talking about the Epson R300 printer, I have only had two small problems, which were easily remedied. One was when my printer started printing green tinted pictures. All I had to do was clean the print heads by pushing a few buttons. (I didn’t even have to load any special paper or physically touch the print heads to clean them. The printer did everything for me!) The other problem was with my CD printer. Sometimes, it just needs an extra light push on the CD tray to get the printing started. Then, after you print the CD/DVD, you have to let it dry for 24 hours before you can put it in a DVD player.

Other Thoughts: One more thing, I really love the price at New Egg for these color ink cartridges! Plus, there is no tax to pay for me (until April 15, that is).
