5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Solid construction, clean lines.

Cons: Main mobo cord is a bit sort and there are only two Sata power cables. Obv no gpu power.

Other Thoughts: The best choice at this wattage and price. Its nice to not worry about psu failure.

5 out of 5 eggssomething new

Pros: Works well in a CM elite 360 case, if you don't need a 6 pin connector. Cable length about right for this case, 2 SATA is enough for HDD and ODD. seems to run cool and is very quiet, (HTPC) set up.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Intel DG41RQ board, ATI Radeon 4650 graphics card, 2 gig A-Data mem., Samsung ODD and HDD. We'll see how long it lasts. Oh yeah, power supply tester showed a little low on 12v2 rail, all others were in spec.

4 out of 5 eggsBasic, good, cheap

Pros: Good looking basic power supply. Installed quickly, powered right up in Dell Dimension desktop to replace a failed unit. This unit was the cheapest replacement I could find from a name brand manufacturer.

I like the dedicated on/off switch.

Cons: Thought I would be OK with 2 SATA power connectors - Unfortunately, my CD and HDD drives were spaced too far apart and I had to use an adapter cable. Would have preferred to have the SATA power connectors on different leads or simply have more SATA power connectors.

4 out of 5 eggsRan for 5 years

Pros: Extremely quiet and dependable. Supported Athlon 64 3000+ OC'ed from 1.8 GHz to 2.2 GHz for over 5 years. This system had two dvd-burners, two PATA HDDs, two SATA HDDs, a TV Tuner, a GeForce 6600, two sticks of 512 MB DDR RAM, and 3 120 mm fans.

I ran this configuration for several hours, 6+, a day doing normal tasks like using the internet to playing games like Civilization 4 or Rome Total War. It provided excellent stability until recently.

Cons: For how much load I had on this PSU and the length of time I used it for, I don't see too many negatives about this PSU.

Other Thoughts: This PSU may have provided a greater life had the system not gone through an accidental drop off the desk. Mind you, this accident happened 4 years ago; so the PSU provided still excellent support for those 4 years.

My computer still boots up, but when under load (like building applications) it will freeze sporadically. I checked the MoBo monitors and it reported a faulty +5V rail, but the others were fine.

Checked with a DMM and it seems that the voltage fluctuates dramatically under load. 5 years seems a respectable life-span.

5 out of 5 eggsit's FSP

Pros: Good basic power supply. It isn't the best power supply (obviously) but at least you can depend on it to work for you and not blow up. Even being low end, FSP makes quality stuff. I love how quiet the fan is. You literally cannot hear it, might as well be passive. Unfortunately the efficiency isn't the greatest because this topology design is outdated. Good quiet PSU, would be perfect for a HTPC

Cons: It's worth the extra couple bucks to get a CX430 or EA430. Does not come in a box. Just comes in bubble wrap...

Other Thoughts: it smells good

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: It's cheap and FSP is a great brand and puts together a well made product. Overclock and stressed my system with out a hiccup.

Cons: The fan isn't loud, but then again it isn't quiet. I might just notice it because it's in the front of my little case.
